Claire: You shut up! Youre not the one handling all the problems of the company! You know nothing! Luke: Hey, stop it both of you! Ive entrusted the company to both of you so you should take care of it together! Claire: Yes papa. The companys operations are going smoothly. Its just now that were having a problem. Ive asked our controller to prepare a cash budget for each quarter. Im just worried with some of the findings. I think we need implement better policies. Macdon: yes, and by better, it means we need to look for suppliers with lower purchase prices and eliminating the cash discount. Claire: But thats ridiculous! Macdon: You dont know what youre saying! Office/Room (knock on door) Mac: Come in JP: Goodmorning sir! Your secretary said you want to talk to me Mac: Yes, I need to talk to you. Are you ready for the board meeting later? Are you sure that the data you will present is accurate? JP: Yes sir. Dont worry. Ill talk to our VP Production and the head of the Billing Dept. later to clarify things. Mac: yes you should do that. I really cannot understand my sisters point you know. Better explain everything clearly to me later. You can go now. JP: okay sir! Thank you. See you later.

Scene 8 Office/Room (knock on door) Hazel: Enter! JP: Goodmorning Ms. Paige Turner! How are you today? Hazel: Im good! How about you? JP: Im doing fine. Im just nervous about the meeting later. Mr. and Ms. Bridges dont really agree with each on other with the results of the cash budget of our company. Hazel: yeah. Ive heard about that. I dont have an opinion because I am yet to see the cash budget. However, I really think that the increase in the purchase prices will affect the production department. By the way, didnt you forget the equipment that we need for November? JP: Dont worry, I didnt forget to consider that. Mr. Bridges is also worried with the change in purchase prices Hazel: I hope they wont change much in our policies. It would be an adjustment not only for us but to our customers as well. Im really worried because collection is not an ordinary thing! JP: I know right. Sam: I just hope that anything implemented will reduce those customers who are not willing to settle their accounts.
