He couldnt even stand up for something he did to himself. Rather than just sleeping it off, he decided to blame someone else for his falling, or failing in life. What a coward. What an idiot. I hope that the same organizations that supported this nut, comes out and apologize. Whatever club he belongs to, he should be banished. I wish I could say: this is so gay. But that, that would be a step up from the pit of low life he would ascend from in that instance. This is the type crap that got several Black people killed throughout this country during its earlier years of existence. He should not only apologize to the court and the police but to everyone who could have been held responsible for his spineless act. What a coward. I cant believe they refer to him as a Man in the story. All he had to say is a Black person did it, and that would have been it. A Black person would have been in jail by now. Because it was labeled as a hate crime and given the area, it took a better investigation of the matter because it more than likely would have had to do with some White hate group. This, like the idiot involved in the shootings this past weekend involving the people in worship at the Sikh Temple. I try not to hate, but I hate crap like this. I hope the lady in Nebraska is telling the truth. What an idiot. This is up there with the lady that wrote her own hate slurs at university and blaming it on others, because she was gay. There is definitely some mental problems going on with people across the country, as they are going crazy with this pop culture wanting to get attention. Its like they want to be a Kayne, or like the Kardasians, and Parish Hiltons of the world. What happened to merit, and honesty. At Central Connecticut State University, the Trumbull, Connecticut resident Alexandra Penell staged her own hate crime as well. They should both go to jail and do real time along with the idiot from Colorado. These things rank right up there with the idiot mothers that kill their children and blame someone else, or the idiot teenage girl that blamed the football player student of rape in California. Joseph Baken, 22-year-old Montana man, admits gay-bashing attack was hoax

on a sidewalk, police say. Joseph Baken of Billings, Mont., was charged with filing a false police report after a video obtained by police and the Missoula Independent newspaper cast doubt on his story.

Baken initially reported to police that he was attacked early Sunday morning by three men outside the Missoula Club, where he said he had gone to celebrate his 22nd birthday, after asking patrons about the location of a gay bar, according to local media reports Pictures of his badly bruised face quickly circulated on the Internet and were displayed on the Wipe Out Homophobia Facebook page and other sites. Gay-rights activists expressed outrage at what they thought was a gay-bashing hate crime. But Bakens story began to fall apart after the Independent and the Missoula Police Department obtained what appears to be cellphone video footage that shows Baken trying to do a backflip on a sidewalk in Missoula. Scottsboro Alabama Rape trial of 1931-7

The Scottsboro Boys were nine black teenage boys accused of rape in Alabama in 1931. The landmark set of legal cases from this incident dealt with racism and the right to a fair trial. The case includes a frameup, all-white jury, rushed trials, an attempted lynching, angry mob, and miscarriage of justice. On March 25, 1931, several people were hoboing on a freight train traveling between Chattanooga and Memphis, Tennessee. Several white boys jumped off the train and reported to the sheriff they had been attacked by a group of black boys. The sheriff deputized a posse, stopped and searched the train at Paint Rock, Alabama, arrested the

black boys, and found two white girls who accused the boys of rape. The case was first heard in Scottsboro, Alabama in three rushed trials, where the defendants received poor legal representation. All but the twelve-year-old Roy Wright were convicted of rape and sentenced to death, the common sentence in Alabama at the time for black men convicted of raping white women. But with help from the American Communist Party, the case was appealed. The Alabama Supreme Court affirmed seven of the eight convictions, and granted thirteen-year-old Eugene Williams a new trial because he was a juvenile. Chief Justice John C. Emmett Louis Till (July 25, 1941 August 28, 1955) was an African-American boy who was brutally murdered in Mississippi at the age of 14 after reportedly flirting with a white woman. Till was from Chicago, Illinois, visiting his relatives in the Mississippi Delta region when he spoke to 21-year-old Carolyn Bryant, the married proprietor of a small grocery store. Several nights later, Bryant's husband Roy and his half-brother J. W. Milam arrived at Till's great-uncle's house where they took Till, transported him to a barn, beat him and gouged out one of his eyes, before shooting him through the head and disposing of his body in the Tallahatchie River, weighting it with a 70-pound (32 kg) cotton gin fan tied around his neck with barbed wire. His body was discovered and retrieved from the river three days later. Till was returned to Chicago and his mother, who had raised him mostly by herself, insisted on a public funeral service with an open casket to show the world the brutality of the killing. Tens of thousands attended his funeral or viewed his casket and images of his mutilated body were published in black magazines and newspapers, rallying popular black support and white sympathy across the U.S. Intense scrutiny was brought to bear on the condition of black civil rights in Mississippi, with newspapers around the country critical of the state. Although initially local newspapers and law enforcement officials decried the violence against Till and called for justice, they soon began responding to national criticism by defending Mississippians, which eventually transformed into support for the killers. The trial attracted a vast amount of press attention. Bryant and Milam were acquitted of Till's kidnapping and murder, but months later, protected against double jeopardy, they admitted to killing him in a magazine interview.
