August20, 2012, Dear Principal/ Headmaster/ Headmistress/Value Education Coordinators, Greetings to you from the Archdiocesan Value Education Centre (AVEC Mumbai). This scholastic year 2012-13, AVEC has made several inroads into schools by Training Teachers and Students through various Value Orientation Programs. To strengthen the bonds between all the Value Education Coordinators affiliated to the ABE, AVEC is organizing a One-day Orientation Program to be held at Don Bosco High School, Matunga (Primary School Hall) on October 4, 2012, from 8.30 am 4.00 pm. The Two Value Coordinators of your school are expected to attend without fail. More may also attend. Our Guest speaker for the day is Ms. Kia Scherr, Founder / Director of One Life Alliance, a Project deep to her heart that was born in tragedy at the Taj Hotel, Mumbai on 26/11 but now reaches the horizons of the world through Peace, Love and Forgiveness. Her Project One Life Alliance will be made known to all. To promote this deeply Value based movement in our schools, we also would like to welcome the Managers/ Headmasters/ Headmistresses to this Value Education Orientation Program. We expect over 300 Value Education Coordinators to be present for this seminar. Fr. Gregory Lobo, Secretary ABE will also be with us. Eminent speakers too have been invited to address the meeting. Various Value Based Publishers and Resource Personnel will also be present to showcase their books and CD/DVD resources. The Program is as follows: 08.30 am: Registration (Don Bosco Primary School Hall, 2nd Floor) 09.00 am: Words of Welcome/ Inauguration / Prayer Service 09.30 am 10.45 am: Session I Mrs. Kia Scherr: One Life Alliance Project- Honour the Sacredness of Life. 10.45 am 11.15 am: Coffee Break 11.15 am 12.30 am: Session II Ms. Sherly Paul: Principal Pilot School Project- A Testimony of Hope 12.30 pm 01.00 pm: Session III Connecting with Value Based Resources/ Personnel 01.00 pm 01.45 pm: LUNCH 01.45 pm 02.15 pm: Session IV Mr. Sanjay Srinivas: Founder I love My Mother Earth Foundation 02-15 pm 02.45 pm: Session V Fr.
