No Public Storm Signals Raised
Estimated rainfall amount is from 10-35 mm per hour (moderate-heavy) within the 600 km
diameter of the Typhoon.
Typhoon "JULIAN" is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring rains
over western section of the country.
The public and disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate
actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issiued at 11 am tomorrow.
II. ACTION/S TAKEN
NDRRMC-OPCEN
Disseminated Severe Weather Bulletin No. 4 on Typhoon " JULIAN" to all OCD Regional
Centers through SMS and facsimile and uploaded same at the NDRRMC website for further
dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Councils
(LDRRMCs) from the provincial dovm to the municipal levels
Directed RDRRMCs concerned, through the OCD Regional Centers. to undertake
precautionary measures in their Area of Responsibility (AOR) and subsequently advised
local DRRMCs to initiate pre-emptive evacuation of families in low-lying and mountainous
areas if situation warrants.
