October 2006 - Time is ticking away. Another hour of history has almost passed. The world may be in the proverbial 11th hour The magnificent . Grand-fatherclock is about to strike midnight. In many respects, the year of 2008 (or 5768 on the Jewish calendar) represents that decisive and transitional moment in history. The periods from 2005 - 2008 and from 2008 - 2011 - like bookends around the year 2008 - represent the initial transition time. ...Leading into this time frame, the markets already have - and are still expected to - provide some powerful reinforcement to these cycles... Precious Metals, Oil markets & the CRB have already validated this conclusion and analysis published since late-1998 - for a major bull market from 1999 & 2001 cycle lows into at least 2006, potentially into 2011.

Stock Indices are similar. They fulfilled projections for an early-2000 cycle peak (see Decade Bubble Effect), an October 2002 cycle low and a rally into a late-2006 cycle peak. If a top is set in the coming months [specific dates for subscribers only], it would fulfill the ongoing forecast for a 2, 4, 8, 16 & 32-year low-low-high Cycle Progression PEAK in 2006. Before elaborating on this, I need to step back and examine the big picture... and show how it is all coming to a head...

And, an abundance of events have already been set in motion - that must reach some level of fruition in the next few years. On one level, this period began in 2000/2001 and encompasses almost two decades - leading into 2017/2018. On another level, it began in 2005 and stretches into 2012. This 7-year period is like the Grand Central Station of cycle convergence, where the highest concentration of cycles merge into one confined space (of time). A third, more narrow window of time has not yet been entered, but could be the most volatile. (This will be discussed in The Grand Illusion II.) For traders and investors, it could be the most dangerous and should be the most opportune. To capitalize on it, however, the big picture MUST first be understood

60 Years is the basis for the Chinese calendar (representing a cycle of time & a cycle of life). The cycle of 60 years is one of the most significant with respect to an individual human. This is probably a big reason that it has such an impact on various measures of mass psychology, like market and economic analysis. In 1973 - 1979, the world saw the risk and cost of standing behind Israel. The YomKippur War of 1973 ushered in the first oil shock in America & helped to trigger a near-50% plunge in the stock market... in less than 2 years. An unprecedented surge in inflation and in the price of Gold & Silver ensued. ...A sharp rally in Gold, Silver & the CRB has been seen, along with an unprecedented surge in Copper (a key indicator of inflation). Oil has climbed to record highs, doubling the peak of 1980 (a peak that was tested at intervals of a decade - in 1990 and again in 2000). This level - the price of 40.00/bbl - is likely to provide support in 2007 and usher in a new surge leading into 2010/2011. ...Consider the intriguing pattern of overlapping cycles from 60 years ago first described in the September 2006 INSIIDE Track - that are described in the inset on page 5.
