Position: Product Marketing Manager Job Number: 1247834 Primary Location: Hong Kong Description Advertiser Product Marketing

and Solutions (APM&S) is the primary engagement point for Sales and Go-to-market teams on customized and packaged ad and publisher products and solutions in Yahoo!s overall portfolio of advertiser and publisher products. The APM&S Group is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to help drive forward Asia -centric solutions and in launching advertiser product capabilities tailored to the Hong Kong market. In this role, you will be responsible for detailed product strategy, market requirements and product definition. This position works closely with Engineering, Business Development, Ops Fin, as well as Marketing. You will evaluate market opportunities, product requirements, available resources, and develop product plans accordingly. Acting as an internal Hong Kong market expert, you will work closely with peer Product Managers to guide development products and platforms, and take a leadership role by coordinating efforts between other cross-functional teams as necessary. You will be responsible for developing and presenting product plans and proposals to senior management, as well as providing day-to-day product support to field sales and business development as needed. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand the Hong Kong market needs for advertiser and publisher products. Identify current (and near future) ad product capabilities in the global products team that can meet the market needs and bring these products to Hong Kong market. Deliver the in-market tests, training, and product messaging for launching the product capability. Identify gaps in current product capabilities for Hong Kong market, and develop a plan to fill the gaps with any of the following: Influencing the global products teams roadmaps Identify technology partners and outsource interim solutions Devise requirements and manage in-house custom solutions Experience, Education and Required Skills: 5+ years experience in product management and/or product marketing in a technology field, preferably in advertising, internet products/services, or data management. Proven success in managing products, launching new products or services and building broadbased support for new ideas from concept phase to market introduction and beyond. Proven track record in informing and strongly influencing the product development process with customer insights, and the ability to interpret user needs into product requirements Experience in building and marketing business cases for new products and new business opportunities Ability to successfully convey ideas and interact/influence across functions and at all levels of an organization Experience in the Asia Pacific online advertising industry is a plus BA/BS required
