Brian McGee Resume and Cover Letter
Brian McGee Resume and Cover Letter
with a great organization, Young Life. Since my time with them, I have handled public relations, human resources, fundraising, leadership initiatives, training, management and vision casting. Equipped with a BFA in Visual Communication Design, I was able to take spreadsheets, budgets, catalogs of pictures, and a collection of dreams and turn them into powerful presentations that have helped spread the work that our program is doing. My average work day consisted of four hours of creative work and four hours of entering into the world of teenagers, building relationships, and helping them realize their limitless potential. Teenagers are a rough clientele, so Im not shy when it comes to critique. Non-Profit work is great for the soul, but with the economy as it is, my jobs paid status has been on life support for a few months. At the end of six years, my family is now looking toward new horizons in order to establish ourselves. My career change couldnt come at a better time, as I feel personally challenged, invigorated, and ready to put my name on something.
I use Adobe CS5s Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign on a daily basis. My design approach is similar to an engineers. I take exiting elements, and I put them together in vibrant new ways to accomplish a task as best as I can while straddling the line between scientific measures and raw human creativity. In order to support my family, I am looking to earn between $48,000 and $58,000. My experience with the print process is up to date, and I do the majority of my current work in the pigment spectrum. Thank you for taking a look at me, if you have any questions, call any time.
