ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS MINI PROJECT: Sybil guard on network analysis ENVIRONMENT: Front End: - JAVA, Back End:-SQL (Structured) DESCRIPTION: Sybil Guard authenticated systems. is security software to transform information only in

Sybil guard is a peer-to-peer and other decentralized, distributed systems are known to be particularly vulnerable to Sybil attacks. In a Sybil attack, a malicious user obtains multiple fake identities and pretends to be multiple, distinct nodes in the system. By controlling a large fraction of the nodes in the system, the malicious user is able to out vote the honest users in collaborative tasks such as Byzantine failure defenses. This paper presents Sybil Guard, a novel protocol for limiting the corruptive influences of Sybil attacks. Our protocol is based on the social network among user identities, where an edge between two identities indicates a human-established trust relationship. Malicious users can create many identities but few trust relationships. Thus, there is a disproportionately-small cut in the graph between the Sybil nodes and the honest nodes. Sybil Guard exploits this property to bind the number of identities a malicious user can create. We show the effectiveness of Sybil Guard both analytically and experimentally. ROLE: Worked as code developer, tester, and project demonstrator. MAIN PROJECT: Virtual Classroom ENVIRONMENT: Front End: - HTML, Middleware:-SQL (Structured), Back End:-JAVA DESCRIPTION: Virtual Classroom is the passage or transfer of information to one or n number of domains at a time when they are connected. The classes can be now taken in online mode to n number of students connected in online by the lecturer. Virtual Classroom System is designed in such a way that the student i.e. client can communicate with the server when it is logged on and the client can retrieve the text files from the server by issuing the request. Clients have his or her own login name and password, which help them to get connected with the server. Here the students are provided with the facility of attending the class of their choice and can choose the faculty according to their wish

In the Virtual Classroom System, when we take the view of the teacher i.e. the server. It has the following features and functionality. The teacher can pass text files to all the students present in the classroom. Teacher can have a view about the attendance of the class. Teacher has the right to permit or reject a students request to leave the classroom. The text typed by the teacher is reflected on all the students system. When the teacher leaves the classroom the students cant communicate with the server. ROLE: worked as developer, demonstrator and tester TECHNICAL SKILLS Programming Languages : Operating Systems : ACHIEVEMENTS Secured Distention certificate in MRUDANGAM exam. Secured second prize in music (instrumental) competition MAITRI conducted by GIET. C, C++, java. Windows XP, Windows Vista/7
