QURAN USES WE FOR ALLAH Does Islam believe in several gods because the Quran uses the word

We when God speaks in the Quran? Answer: Islam is a strictly monotheistic religion. It believes in and adheres to uncompromising monotheism. It believes that God is one, and unique in His attributes. In the Quran, God often refers to Himself using the word We. But this does not mean that Islam believes in the existence of more than one God. TWO TYPES OF PLURAL In several languages, there are two types of plurals, one is a plural of numbers to refer to something that occurs in a quantity of more than one. The other plural is a plural of respect. a. In the English language, the Queen of England refers to herself as We instead of I. This is known as the royal plural. b. Rajiv Gandhi, the ex-Prime Minister of India used to say in Hindi "Hum dekhna chahte hain". "We want to see." Hum means We which is again a royal plural in Hindi. c. Similarly in Arabic, when Allah refers to Himself in the Quran, He often uses Arabic word 'Nahnu' meaning We. It does not indicate plural of number but plural of respect. Tawheed or monotheism is one of the pillars of Islam. The existence and uniqueness of one and only one God is mentioned several times in the Quran. For instance in Surah Ikhlas, it says: AL-QURAN 112: 1 "Say He is Allah the One and Only." [Al-Quran 112: 1] so, Allah(swt) used the word We as a Royal Plural of respect. Quran 22:34

34. and for Every nation we have appointed religious ceremonies, that they may mention the Name of Allh over the beast of cattle that He has given them for food.

and Your Ilh (God) is one Ilh (God Allh), so You must submit to Him alone (in Islm). and (O Muhammad ) give glad tidings to the Mukhbitin [those who obey Allh with humility and are humble from among the true believers of Islmic Monotheism],

Quran 40:65

65. He is the ever living, L ilha illa Huwa (none has the Right to be worshipped but He), so invoke Him making Your Worship pure for Him alone (by worshipping Him alone, and none else, and by doing righteous deeds sincerely for Allh's sake only, and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him In worship). All the praises and thanks be to Allh, the Lord of the 'Alamn (mankind, jinns and All that exists).

Answer: Did Adam see Allah? In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqrah verses 35-39: 35 We said: "O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the garden and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will, but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression." 36 Then did Shaytaan make them slip from the (garden) and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down all (ye people) with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood for a time." 37 Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration and his Lord turned toward him; for He is Oft-Returning Most Merciful. 38 We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you guidance from Me whosoever follows My guidance on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. 39 "But those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be Companions of the Fire; they shall abide therein." Your Question: comment on whether Hazrat ADAM As, has seen ALLAH before he was sent to earth.? Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verses 102-103: 102 That is Allah your Lord! There is no god but He, the Creator of all things: then worship ye Him: and He hath power to dispose of all affairs.

103 No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision! He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things. Allah Subhanah Declares in the Glorious Quran that there is No vision can grasp Him ; thus it is evident from the above Aayah that there is absolutely no one in creation who has seen the Majestic and Supreme Lord! There are several authentic narrations of the Prophet (saws) whereby he has given the believers the good news that the Majestic and Supreme Lord will reveal Himself to the believers on the Day of Resurrection. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.770 (part) Narrated by Abu Huraira The people said, "O Allah's Messenger (saws)! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He (saws) replied, "Do you have any doubt in seeing the full moon on a clear night?" They replied, "No, O Allah's Messenger (saws)!" He (saws) said, "Do you have any doubt in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?" They replied in the negative. He (saws) said, "You will see Allah (your Lord) in the same way! On the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered and He will order the people to follow what they used to worship. So some of them will follow the sun, some will follow the moon, and some will follow other deities; and only this nation (Muslims) will be left with its hypocrites. Allah will come to them and say, 'I am Your Lord.' They will say, 'We shall stay in this place till our Lord comes to us and when our Lord will come, we will recognize Him. Then Allah will come to them again and say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'You are our Lord.' Allah will call them, and As-Sirat (a bridge) will be laid across Hell and I (Muhammad (saws)) shall be the first amongst the Messengers to cross it with my followers. Nobody except the Prophets will then be able to speak, and they will be saying then, 'O Allah! Save us. O Allah Save us.' May Allah Subhanah include you and us amongst the fortunate believers, who will be given the supreme honor and privilege to see their All Mighty Lord and Creator in All His Majesty on the Inevitable Day of Resurrection. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Mu` meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah`s Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Is Allah a deity ? or is he a God?If he is a deity then wouldnt it make us Muslims idol worshippers? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Is Allah a deity In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Only the One Who Created everything in existence, is All-Powerful, All-Mighty, AllKnowing, All-Seeing, All-Hearing, and Ever-Living Who has the right to be termed or called a Deity or a God.and it is the Sole Right of this Deity and God Alone that He Alone be worshipped, that His Laws and His Commands are unconditionally obeyed, and that His Will be fulfilled! An idol on the other hand is a mere image one makes of something or someone one assumes to be their deity or their god, and gives the rights that are due to The One and Only Real and True Deity or Lord God Who created to their self-invented idol/s..that would be idol-worship the absolute biggest and the most heinous crime one can possibly commit in the Sight of the One and Only True Lord, God and Deity Who created everything in existence. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 19 (part): 19 .. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another illah (deity)?" Say (O Prophet (saws)): "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say (O Prophet (saws)): "But in Truth He (Allah) is the One and Only Ilaah (Deity), and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining other deities with Him! Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 163: 163 And your Ilaah (Deity) is but one Ilaah (Diety); there is no other ilaah but He, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful (ie. Allah Subhanah wa Taala)! Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 38 Surah Saad verses 65-66: 65 Say (O Prophet (saws)): "Truly am I a warner: no other ilaah (diety) is there but the One Allah, The Absolute Supreme, The Irresistible

66 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; The Exalted in Might, Able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imraan verse 18: 18 There is no other ilaah but He (Allah Subhanah): that is the witness of Allah, His Angels, and those endued with knowledge standing firm on justice. There is no other Ilaah but He, The Exalted in Power, The Wise. A diety or Arabic ilaah is one who deserves to be worshipped.and Islam guides and commands that there is but only One Deity and One Ilaah Who Alone deserves worship and that too in the absolute unseen, without any image or idol.and that Deity, that Ilaah, that God, that Lord is Allah Subhanah wa Taala Alone, the Lone Creator, Sustainer and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth and everything that exists in between! Your Question: .If he is a deity then wouldnt it make us Muslims idol worshippers? For one to be termed or called an idol worshipper one has to have an idol or an image which one worships believing or assuming it to be ones deitythe Muslims are Commanded and Guided by their Lord Creator to worship Him and Him Alone, unconditionally obey and follow His Revealed Guidance, submit their will unto His Will in the absolute unseen.without any image or idol whatsoever! If Allah forbid, any in creation makes or finds oneself an idol/s or an image/s and assumes or believes it to be a deity and worships it..without an iota of a doubt, such a person will be a mushrik (polytheist) and an idol-worshipper in the Sight of the Lord Most Supreme Who Created! Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength. Answer: To say Allah hafiz a bida In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 4.143 Topic: Bidding Farewell to One's Relatives, Asking them for Prayers, and Praying for Them Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "Anyone intending to go on a journey should say to those staying behind, 'I commend you to Allah Whose trusts are never lost'." It is Sunnah that the members of the family, as well as the friends and those who see the traveler off should pray for him as in the following prayer transmitted from the Prophet (saws). Salim reported that when someone wanted to leave for a journey Abdullah Ibn Umar (r.a.) would say to him, "Come over to me so that I may bid you farewell as the Prophet (saws) peace upon him, used to bid us farewell," and that he used to say, "To Allah I commend your deen (Islam), your trust (ie. his family, those he leaves behind, and his property, etc.), and the conclusion of your deeds."' Anas ibn Malik (r.a.) reported that a man came to the Prophet (saws) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (saws), I intend to go on a journey, so please give me provision for the journey." The Prophet (saws) replied, "May Allah provide you with piety (taqwa)." The man said, "Give me some more provision." The Prophet (saws) said,

"And may Allah forgive your sins." The man said, "Give me still more." The Prophet (saws) then replied, "And may Allah facilitate good for you wherever you may be." Related by Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood. Abu Hurairah reported that a man said to the Prophet (saws) "O Allah's Messenger (saws), I intend to proceed on a journey, so give me some advice." The Prophet (saws) said to him, "Fear Allah, the Mighty and the Exalted, and glorify Him on every elevated piece of ground." When the man turned away to go, the Prophet (saws) said, "O Allah, make the distance short for him, and make his journey easy for him." Related by Tirmidhi. A believer never loses an opportunity to Remember Allah Subhanah and make supplications for himself and his brethren. In light of the above quoted guidance, the scholars and jurists in Islam are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that there is absolutely no harm if a believer makes a supplication for his believing brethren at the time of parting by saying Fee Amaan Allah (In the Protection of Allah) or Allah Hafiz (Allah is the Protector or In the Protection of Allah). Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
