The truth shall set you free

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS 1. Effective time management As it appears to be, managing ones time is not in any way easy and we all know that time waits for no one; tick, tick says the clock, what you have to do, do it quick. Take a keen look at all inventors, talk of Thomas Edison, Henry ford, has any one ever created a time rewinder, such that you were able to rewind missed schedule? No such thing can be done. In every blessed/bad day, there is always 24 hrs to work with and as Theodore Roosevelt said, do what you can with what you have, right where you are, therefore every 10mins spent in planning saves 100-120mins in execution as said by Tracy For anybody to effectively manage his or her time he must have Decided exactly what he/she wants in each area of his life Written it down clearly and in detail Set a specific deadline Make a list of everything he wants to achieve Organize the time in your list in proper sequence Taken action immediately A mismanaged time could be deadly because there is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important task just as Parkinsons law states work expand to fill the time allotted for it. If you have 2 hrs of work to do and an entire day to which to do it, the work will tend to expand gradually and will take all day long to complete the 2 hrs of work. For a well managed time in a day to be accomplished, it is ideal to check out ones time robbers, which includes phone calls, drop-in-visitors, self-imposed interruptions, this will definitely encourage a well managed time. 2. Discipline Discipline is an act of love, it is a loving fairness and it involves harnessing and channeling energy for great performance. A disciplined person had endured the pain to get the gain, he has

paid the price to win the prize being encouraged with the full understanding that the pain of regret is bitter than the pain of discipline (Oluwafemi, 2011) Discipline in its real sense just as Elbert Hubbard termed it the ability to make yourself do what you should do when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not If you engage yourself through disciplinary actions, you will later see that is an act of love for the end of it is joy. 3. MotivationIt is the motive for an action According to Napoleon Hill, it is that which induces actions or determines choices, it is the hope or other fire which starts and returns in an attempt to produce specified result. Motivation comes in diverse ways; internal motivation comes from within, such as pride, a sense of achievement, responsibility and belief. Motivation for success is as a result of the burning desire to achieve a purpose just as Napoleon Hill wrote, whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve 4. Integrity Character is the real foundation of all worthwhile success. A good question to ask yourself is what kind of world would this world be if everybody were just like me? you are simply an open book telling the world about its author (John L Mason) Integrity which is the basicity of leadership ensures one is honest and there is no substitute for honestybut, there is no topic for the person who is dishonest by choice, sooner or latter, this deed will catch up with him and he will pay by loss of reputation and perhaps even loss of liberty (Napoleon Hill) To be successful in life, a major factor or recipe is integrity; it builds trust between you and your friendsto yield positive relationship which you would always have a need of. 5. Evaluate strengths and build on it One of man popular strength is his gifts/talents. Discovering ones natural talent and strengthening them is the greatest improvement and not overcoming weakness. The real tragedies of life arent that we dont have enough strength; it is that we fail to use the ones we have. It is ideal of a man who earnestly desires success to look inside of him just as someone advised, look inside yourself to identify your strength (natural talents), reinforce them with practice and learning, and I affirm that it would help build a positive self image, a perfect self confidence and a wonderful self esteem. 6. Learn from other peoples mistake Mistakes people make do not necessarily make them a failure, but if they surrender to defeat they become one.

Success is measured by how many times you bounce back when you fall down. A lot of people in life have made several mistakes before they became a success, if you learn from them, it would save you from troubles. Two ways we mostly learn in life is from others mistake and from our mistakes but if you want to make all the mistakes, you might not live to correct them all. Feel free to ask questions for clarification sake on what seem vague to you which could be a millstone on your pathway to success 7. Associate with people of high moral character. If you associate with great men, you will be great-earl nightingale. As the saying goes the magnitude of your success in life is dependent on the books you read and the company you keep. If you keep a companion of fools, destruction is their end result but the company of the wise prospers more. Those you associate yourself with influence your life daily but the ball is in your court to determine if they should influence you for positivity or for negativity. Success in life depends solely on God through his son Jesus Christ, if we seek his kingdom, all other things will be added. Carefully following this laid down principle precept by precept, success is sure (SIS) but it is your duty to follow suit. A duty which becomes a desire ends up becoming a delight (George Gritter) ALIU OLUWAFEMI ROYAL aliu.oluwafemi@yahoo.com 08137365526
