November 13 - As part of American Education wee AMS is hosting a Parent Open H ouse for current and prospective parents. All parents are invited to join us bet ween 8:30 and 1:00 to visit class. All details can be found on the school websit e http://www.aacps.org/aacps/anms/index.asp Also on November 13 from 3-4 pm, any 8th grade parents are invited to join Ms. W estley after school for a conversation with the Annapolis High School's IB Coord inator, Nancy Heiles. Donations Needed for Teacher Dinner The PTSA will once again sponsor dinner for the teachers on Mon. Nov. 19, which is a full day for student-led conferences. Any donations are welcomed - drin s, desserts, and/or monetary donations, and can be dropped off at the front office at any time, or contact Monica Lynch at monica.lynch@comcast.net for more inform ation. We will be ordering dinner from Ledo's for the teachers Nov. 19, and Ledo's wil l be holding a dining out the same day, from 11 am to 10 pm, with a portion of a ll money spent supporting AMS. No flyer needed, just mention AMS that day, for t a e out or in-store dining. Honor Roll Ice Cream Party The first quarter honor roll ice cream party will be held Wednesday Nov. 28. Any donations are welcomed to be dropped off at the front office, including bowls, spoons, nap ins, plastic table cloths, plastic serving gloves, whipped cream, ma raschino cherries, sprin les, M and Ms, Oreo coo ies, chocolate syrup, and/or sm all denomination gift cards. Any monetary donations toward these supplies are al so welcomed. Parents are needed to come scoop ice cream that afternoon. From September 1-Oct. 31, 10 percent of sales made by AMS supporters will be donated to the school. No coupon is necessary - just tell the cashier that you wish your purchase to support our school.
