Algae Wrap: Applied to purify, tone, remineralize and regenerate the organism. Algotherapy: There are different types of algae for each problem. All of them are excellent for recharging oligoelements that mineralize, balance and oxygenate the body. Arab Baths: Distinguished from Turkish baths by having 3 separate rooms, the first to rest and relax (warm-up room), a second room with a type of pool with cold water and the last room with hot water. Muds: Mixture of organic carbon and mineral substances that are used for therapeutic purposes and which is applied with massage. Niagara Bath: Thermal bath with programmable subaquatic jets. Ozone Bath: Bubble bath in which the air used to make the bubbles contain a high amount of ozone. Parafangos: Mixture of clays or muds with paraffin for applications to one or more parts of the body. Presotherapy: Technique of lymphatic drainage through a system of air chamber that exercise progressive pressure on the extremities, resolving edemas and liquid retention. Reflexotherapy: Massage in the plantar area of the feet where the body zones have their reflex area, which is assumed to provide physical and psychic improvement. Resort: Therapeutic institution whose treatments are based on the use of mineral-medicinal water or muds applied by various hydrothermal techniques. Sauna: Dry heat in a cabin that produces elimination of toxins and promotes loss of excess tissue water through transpiration. Sea Salt Bath: Done with thermal water at 40C mixed with sea salt. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is indicated for all types of muscular complaints. Scottish Shower: Shower with alternating hot and cold temperatures that is applied to the entire body.
Glossary

SPA: Originally a Latin term Salus per Aquam (Health through water). A spa is a space for well-being where treatments done with water are applied. Their purpose is to promote relaxation, vitality and health. Steam Bath: Application of steam in a closed area can be general or partial. Steam Room: : Humid vapour room that promotes sweating, improves respiration and relaxes the muscles. Steam Shower: Consists of applying steam jets to various parts of the body promoting transcutaneous absorption of the active elements of the thermal water. Talasoterapia: Hydrotherapy treatment done using sea water (Gr. Thalassa). It also incorporates marine elements such as algae, mud and thermal plankton for application in various treatments (muds, etc.). Thermal Bath: Bath in which subaquatic jets are applied in thermal water at temperature. Turkish Bath: Steam bath in cabin, to produce sweat that rehydrates the tissues and because of its herbal additives improves the respiratory system. Vichy Shower: Shower in which the stream is directed to a bed by means of a device that causes water to be directed at the entire body while receiving a general massage. Vinoterapia: Treatment using various types of grapes, unfermented grape juice, wine production residues, wines and oils derived from the grape for therapeutic and aesthetic purposes.
