IAP2 Southern Africa will hold its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of the Southern African Affiliate of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2 SA). IAP2 SA was established as a regional affiliate to the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) in December 2010, and officially registered as a not-for-profit in 2011. Join us to review what has been achieved since then, discuss the strategy for 2013, and elect new board members.

As a special AGM bonus, the JDA will host an inspirational tour of THE WESTGATE STATION PRECINCT PROJECT, a JDA initiative.

Thanduxolo Mendrew, Acting CEO, JDA, will share JDAs public participation practices & lessons learnt Stephen Hobbs, Trinity Sessions, will present on JDAs public art programme as a strategy for engaging communities and stakeholders, followed by a walk through the new public art exhibition Paul Arnott-Job, Senior Development Manager, JDA, will introduce us to Westgate Station Precinct project, followed by a tour of the Westgate Station Precinct and return to the Bus Factory
