Why not pop along and say hello. There is pizza from Mama Ferraris, drinks and some surprises. This is essentially our end of year fun and social night but we will be launching our new website and facebook presence.

Our printed newsletter will continue next year in an expanded 4 page form providing a wider forum to circulate community messages. However it will be published every two months reflecting the improved access to online information for residents. Next Year
We have big things planned for Morningside NHW next year. Our signature event, and with support from BCC through local Councillor Shayne Sutton, is the Picnic in Keralgerie Park, on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd March 2013. Put this one in your diary as this will be a big event and community fund raiser. All money raised on the day will be donated to Cannon Hill Family Support Centre. This grass roots organization does a great job in providing emergency relief services to families and individuals who are experiencing a crisis and having difficulty paying for essential services. They operate from Cannon Hill and cover 15 suburbs in our area. We will also have support from the Rotary Club of Balmoral who are an active community group and well known in our neighbourhood. Kids Jumping Castle Free Sausage Sizzle Radar speed ball activity and Police Display There will be several lucky door prizes provided by our supporters like Adbri Masonry and Landscaping, Bunnings, Molloy Road Friendly Grocer, Blue Poppy Caf, Mama Ferraris Pizzeria and others. This is a fun community event, for the family, that wont cost you much except for a donation to a really worthwhile cause. Look out for your neighbours and they will look after you. December 2012 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Crime Activity Report: Our Police Liaison Officer advises things have been pretty quiet since our last report which is great news. There were the 4 graffiti and willful damage reports on 6th November in Elwell, Bonar, Pinedale and Britannia Streets which we covered last time and an incident of a vehicle evading police. As always, please be vigilant and take the necessary precautions to secure your property. Otherwise all good in our neighbourhood.
