According to recent WSIB reports, unprotected falls are the largest contributor to work place accidents. HITE Engineering Corporation is an engineering consulting firm specialized in safety engineering. ONE-DAY FALL PROTECTION TRAINING


This one-day course will provide the participants with the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations pertaining to fall protection. It will provide an awareness of the needs to protect workers at heights, maintaining fall protection programs, to having working knowledge of how to safely use fall protection systems and in inspecting such system prior to use. After completing the course, the participant will understand and be capable of properly using the fall protection systems covered in the course. Participants will understand how to identify fall hazards, how to avoid falls and how to protect themselves or help others in the event of a fall. ADVANCED FALL PROTECTION TRAINING This two-day Course is best suited for those who work at heights and must have working Knowledge of how to safely use pre-installed fall protection systems. The course covers use of the most popular commercially available systems and trains participants in selecting the appropriate systems and in conducting fall protection training. Written and practical tests are included to ensure that the principles presented in the course are understood. Those successful will be presented with documentation to satisfy your companys due diligence and regulatory requirements.
