Cartons are popular because it seems as if they offer something for everyone.

Vi ewers may choose shows that are funny, cute, scary, mysterious, or a combination of those things. Cartoons can build worlds that cannot exist in reality or tell stories set in the real world. Not all new cartoons are completely new. Some ca rtoons take advantage of characters that have established histories and place th em in different settings to create new experiences for viewers. Gaspard and Lisa "Gaspard and Lisa" is a new TV show that appeals to younger children. Both Gaspa rd and Lisa are six-year-old dogs. They are best friends who sit next to one ano ther in class. The show follows them in school and at home. Their escapades are appropriate for pre-school aged children and include lessons about daily life. T he series is a British production and airs on Disney Junior in the United States . Gravity Falls "Gravity Falls" centers on 12-year-old twins Mabel and Dipper Pines. One summer, Mabel and Dipper s parents send them to visit their uncle who lives in the town of Gravity Falls. The twins investigate odd occurrences and solve mysteries in town . Uncle Stan, who is otherwise known as Gruncle Stan, owns and operates a store called the Mystery Shack. The Mystery Shack provides the basis for some of the t own folklore that draws in tourists and leads Dipper and Mabel on new adventures . The episodes contain clues to larger mysteries that develop throughout the sea son. "Gravity Falls" airs on DisneyXD. NFL Rush Zone The "NFL Rush Zone" is a new TV show that brings together actual NFL players wit h fictional characters in an animated series. The cartoon airs on Nickelodeon wi th encore presentations of the NFL Network. "NFL Rush Zone" revolves around a bo y named Ishmael and his adventures with beings from other planets. Each episode incorporates aspects of the game of football and the NFL to tell the story. The show uses variants of actual NFL team names and logos to add an extra level of h umor while still making it so that viewers recognize the team association. Transformers: Prime The Animated Series

"Transformers: Prime The Animated Series" is an updated version of the classic "Tr ansformers" cartoon. The latest incarnation blends 2D animation with CGI. The st oryline focuses principally on the relationships among the Transformers and thre e teenagers. Led by Optimus Prime, in this new TV show, the Autobots battle the Decepticons, led by Megatron on Earth. The series uses humor to balance against some of its darker themes. "Transformers: Prime" airs on the Cartoon Network. Tron: Uprising "Tron: Uprising" is part of the franchise that grew out of the popular Tron video arca de game. The new TV show takes place in the Argon City section of the Grid. The Grid is the fictional land where computer programs exist as individual character s. Uprising centers on the struggles of a young program named Beck who tries to lead a revolution of other programs against an evil villain named Clu. The chara cter Tron still lives in the Grid. Tron helps to train and mentor Beck in his qu est to unite the other programs against Clu. "Tron: Uprising" airs on DisneyXD.
