FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT JOHN SIMS

Sims was arrested and pled guilty to Aggravated Battery for assaulting a pregnant
woman and was sentenced to two years of probation. See Miami Dade 11th Circuit
Court Criminal Case No.: 91-5433.
Sims was found to be in violation of the terms of his probation and was then ordered to
serve an additional two years of probation. See Miami-Dade Circuit Court Case Criminal
Case No.: 91-5433.
Court determined that Sims failed to pay child support in the amount of $25,647.10, and
legal fees in the amount of $15,882.79. See Miami-Dade 11th Circuit Court, Case No.
91-36013FC24.
Sims threated a BSO Deputy while a Code Enforcement Officer was trying to serve two
code violations on a neighbor. See Miami Herald Article (1/25/07).
Sims filed a "Notice to Prohibit Federal and Local Government Entities, Officers of the
Law, Government Officials, Agents or Agencies" from stepping foot on, or entering, his
property in Timberlake and threatened to charge them $5,000.00 per day if entry is
made without written notice of permission from him. See Notice recorded in Broward
County Public Records on August 30, 2005.
Court ordered psychological report on Sims, prepared by Forensic and Clinical
Psychology Associates, P.A., and appearing in Case No.: 91-5433, contains the following
findings:
o That Sims has some rather chronic personality and behavior problems;
o That Sims has difficulties with stressful situations;
o That Sims suffers from narcissism and he tends to overvalue his own personal
worth to compensate for his underlying feelings of insecurity, and that he further
compensates for this by coming across as over authoritarian;
o That Sims tends to be lackadaisical or hasty in his thinking, and this causes him to
misinterprets what others may be saying or doi ng;
Sims was dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Navy for improper behavior.
Sims was caught plagiarizing various writings and materials that he posted on his
websites, and distributed to others. Yet he defends himself by asserting that his
computer was hacked or that "ghosts" caused the plagiarism. See Miami Herald article.
Sims repeatedly posted anti-Semitic remarks and Nazi depictions on two of his websites,
but claimed that he "was hacked into." See Miami Herald Article {4/2/08)

Case No.: 91-005433
Mr . Sims has been attending the IX:nestic Intervention Program
since June, 1991. He continues to justify his violent actions and
blam=s his wife for his abusive behavior. Mr. Sims has a great deal of
hostility towards his wife arrl the justice system. He has been unable
to work through this anger so as to make progress in therapy. He has
maintainerl a very negative and sarcastic attitupe throughout his treat-
ment.
Therefore, it is our piOfessional . opinion that Mr. Sims has
reached maximum potential in therapy at this time. However, he still
remains at high risk for . beccming physically violent again in the
future. The protection and well-being of his wife and new baby should
be the utrrost priority of the Court at this tine.
