To help overcome these challenges, the NSCAA Foundation began awarding grants in the 1990s; but because the Foundation did not have an endowment, each year we could only award an amount equal to what was raised in that year. With an endowment, the NSCAA Foundation will always be able to annually award grants and scholarships in increasing numbers as the endowment continues to grow, and help us better reach these underserved communities and groups well into the future.

Its purpose is to support the mission of the NSCAA Foundation: Provide soccer coaching educational opportunities to underserved socioeconomic communities, geographic areas, and ethnic groups throughout the United States. Our goal is one million dollars. One of our approaches toward building an endowment is the Named Fund program. To date, we have established eight named endowed funds. They are pictured above.
