This was a primary source that was written by Andrew Ure, but it was not too helpful towards finding information to support my thesis. Although many historians claim that Watt was the true inventor, the author does not believe it to be so. The information was clearly presented with many pictures, diagrams, and captions and at the bottom of the webpage, there was a detailed timeline. The author also included additional links at the bottom of the webpage that were helpful as well.

Knight, David C. Watt, James (1736-1819). The New Book of Knowledge. N.p.: Grolier Online, 2012. N. pag. Print. This short article did not provide a level of useful information to include in my website. It, of course, mentioned steam power and the effect it had on society and his life personally, but there werent too many pages on it. The timeline in the back of the book was okay, but focused mainly on his life, for example, when he was born, and when he married. In the margins, there were many quotes from people during the time. At the end of the book, there was an accurate timeline as well. Steam. N.p., n.d. Web. 8 Nov. 2012.
