ROLE OF CUSPAL STAR LORD - ASCENDANT LEO

CUSPAL STAR LORD: In this issue as a first article on Cuspal Star Lord for Mesha Lagna is taken up. However we can find majority are common from these ancient texts. I Makha belongs to Kshatriya Varna, Antya Nadi, Mooshak Yoni, Rakshasa Gana and Mooshak Varga. He will be rich and prosperous all his life. There will be many servants in his house. He will be devoted to his parents and will worship God. he might become a successful industrialist. The Sign Lords are getting the signification of that particular cusp. Whereas if you judge Star of the Cusps then apart from 7 planets you will also look into the Nodes Rahu and Kethu also for judging the same. Hence all the 9 planets would get portfolios of the cusps. Whether these Cuspal Star Planets are giving the results of these Cusps? I request all the seniors would offer their feedback on this topic. For Simha Lagna the Cusps 1,5,9 are in Fiery Signs (Dharma) and the Lords of these houses (Sun, Jupiter and Mars) are very much helpful to each other. Kona Lords are Trijanamas Father Son and Grandson. You can observe that Sun, Jupiter and Mars are trine lords connected to Dharma. Sun lord of 1 is powerful in giving Lagna results if Sun is placed well, good with father, king or government, resourceful and helping; Mars as lord of 4n9 quadrant and trine gives good raja yoga as per Parasara. Generally indicates education related to technical, profession with Mars as lord is good for administrative, police, defence etc. He is also Bhadhaka Lord of Fixed Sing Leo and does not do much harm unlike for Dual and Moveable Ascendants; Jupiter as lord of 5n8 good for progeny, indicates medium in higher education because of 8th house involvement which is good for medical sciences.

If these three houses (I V IX) falls in Kethu Star then the characteristics would be philosophical and religious in nature. Kethus Signification (Nodes conjunction, Aspect, Star Lord and lastly the Sign Lord) If they are connected to Venus (III & X) siblings and job/profession. It gives more houses. attached to skills, attachment to these

Finally if these cusps are connected to Sun (I) gives easy going, helping, name and fame, good health. All Remedies will work well for them.

Second Triplet Cusps are the 2,6,10 which are Earthy Signs (Mercury, Saturn, and Venus) are connected to Money, Service and Profession/ Job indicates Artha. Mercury as lord of 2 indicates money thru business, consultancy and different means; Saturn lord of 6&7 indicates success, competition, good for gains and success in business, problems in marital life; Venus as lord 3 &10 gives success in office as well as in communication, short journeys and marketing.
o If these cusps are connected to star of Sun (I) is favourable for money making, family increase, adding new members as per KP. Good for competition success, earning money through own efforts. Success in Profession and may be high position in Kings court i.e Government. If these Cusps are connected to star of Moon (XII) will not support to make money as 12th indication dilution, family will be limited, expenditure on higher side, or money in secret place without paying taxes; Service will not be good and loss through and frequent health connected matters; Job will be risky and work will be more not rewarding but helps to get success in foreign services. Finally if these Cusps are connected star of to Mars Bhadhaka lord (IV, IX) would help in getting good speech; secondary and higher education matters would be flourishing, gets financial support, ancestral properties, liquid cash and wealth through parents and purva punya, because both these houses are Kendra and Kona of Vishnu and Lakshmi; Job area is very good for Research work, working in Universities connected with technical side.

Third Triplet Cusps are the 3,7,11 Houses which are Airy Signs (Venus, Saturn & Mercury) connected to are connected to Kama. Venus as lord 3 gives communication abilities, short journeys; Saturn as lord of 6n7 creates problems in marital area but helps in business/ job side; Mercury is lord of 2 &11 helps success in all these areas as he is very close friend to Lagna Lord. If these three cusps (III, VII & XI) connected to Mars Bhadhaka lord (4,9) then the results are (3,4,9), (7,4,9) and (11,4,9); 3rd connection is favourable for short and long journeys, breaks in secondary education, but higher education it will help necause of skills and subconscrious mind connection to 9th house; 7th connection gives does help to get career spouse and spouse would be in lime light, this combination is good for ladies; 11th connection would give good education both at secondary/ higher education including Phd in the studies, occupation in teaching profession of Universities.

If they are connected to Rahu (Node) would determine the outcome basing on Rahu Signification (Nodes conjunction, Aspect, Star Lord and lastly the Sign Lord) Rahus connection to 3rd gives loss of mother, school education, but good for longevity in upachaya and also gives good Yoga during Rahu Major period; 7th connection leads illegal contacts; unconventional and out of community marriage and finally there will be lot of friction in marital life and may lead to brekage; 11th connection gives good luck and long life as it is not a Bhadhaka House unlike for Moveable Ascendants.

Finally if these Cusps connected to Jupiter (V & VIII) then the results are (3, 5&8); (7 5&18); and (11, 5&8); Jupiter 3rd connection would give medium results as 5n8 are non improving houses; 7th connection would lead love marriage, marital harmony, not good for business leads to loss; 11th connection would lead to luck and gains, spiritual progress, mantra siddhi, remedies work well thru pujas. A very good combination for marital harmony, birth children, good health, happy sexual life.

Fourth Triplet Cusps are the 4,8,12 which are connected to Watery Signs (Mars, Jupiter and Moon) who are friends to Lagna Lord Sun hence these trigons dushtans will prove to be comfortable for this Ascendant. Mars is lord of 4n9 Bhadhaka is medium; Jupiter lord of 5n8 creates problems in love, birth of children and children may act against the native, etc. Moon as lord 2n11 gives good luck, financial gains, good speech, vak siddhi, luck through elder sibling or friends. If these Cusps (IV, VIII and XII) are connected to Jupiter (V & VIII) then the results are (4, 5&10); (8 5&10); and (12, 5&10); signification which indicates 4th connection would negates love affairs, progeny; 8th connection would lead to failure or deception in love matters, not good for job; 12th connection would lead to failure in love, progeny and health, but good for immigration and job in abroad. If these Cusps are connected to Saturn (VI, VII) then the results are (4,6,7); (8,6,7); and (12,6,7); Saturn indicates 4th connection would create displeasure in service/ marriage and also for getting children; 8th connection would lead to failure in marriage / business and service may lead to sudden problems; 12th connection would lead displeasure in Service, Business and marriage as 12the is a disappointment and expenses, secret enemies. Finally if these Cusps are connected to Mercury (II & XI) connection to 4,8,12 gives gains thru these negative houses, such gains thru selling properties, insurance claims, scams/ scandals of money natures, success in abroad or gains thru foreign currency by working or getting business thru foreign countries. Mercury being a yoga karaka for this Ascendant would try to modify the house of these 4,8,12 to give good results and saves from accidents, deceits, etc. From the above it could be summed up that normally the Cusp Stars and the owners of these stars if they signify good cusps for that particular Ascendant then it will improve that Bhava concerned or otherwise the Bhava concerned would be in problem unless the native was born in Cuspal Interception where the cusps would shift either clockwise or anticlockwise wherein the predictions would be done on special footing on case to case basis but not a general rules basing Ascendant itself. That is the reason why the Ascendant plays an important role because once its features are known (i.e. Lagna, Lagesh, Odd / even. According to K.P. system, the Asc and the signifying planets of the Ascending sign will indicate whether one can maintain good health or suffer from any disease or will have rapid or slow recovery the ailment or succumb to it. The 6th cusp reveal about the disease. One will suffer from any disease. The nature of the disease can be found out from the sub lord of the 6th cusp. The fatal disease is shown by the 8th cusp, and the planets are said to be malefic for health portion of life only , when they have some connections with the 6th cusp(disease),8th cusp(defect ) and 12th cusp(hospitalization and isolation). So, whenever the sub lord of the 6th cusp is connected to 6-8-12 cusps, one can say the nature of the disease and affecting portion of the body. CHANCES FOR EARTHQUAKE IN INDIA

The first one occurred in Northern India and the other in South India within two months. I thought that Mars and Saturn are responsible for this havoc (which is a tentative opinion). Unfortunately there is not much information available on mundane astrology. I got the indications that there might be some serious calamity in India but how? where? etc. I thought that horary astrology can be trusted up on to find an answer. The question is Is there any serious earth quake (which involves huge death toll) in India this year? Number 206 flashed in my mind and the following is the map and

Here I take Asc to be our country, danger or disaster to it is represented by the 8th house. Asc is in Capricorn in Mars star and Jupiter sub whereas the 8th house is in Virgo in Sun star and Jupiter sub! Jupiter is in Aries in Venus star and own sub. Venus is lord of the 4-9 houses in 4th house. Further she is in the star of Moon lord of the 7th house in 11th house (Badaka sthana). Further Jupiter is Badaka lord and connected with Earthy Sign Taurus, and is in good square aspect to Asc another Earthy sign!

Asc lord Saturn is in 8th house in the star of Mars in 7th house, Rahu alone is in the star of Saturn and there are 5 planets in the subs of Rahu. All are dangerous among them planets connected with Asc as well as earthy signs are doubly dangerous. Here only Venus and Kethu are in Taurus hence planets connected with them as well as 8th house are dangerous. Jupiter, Kethu, Venus, Rahu and Mercury are such planets. Among them Rahu-Jupiter-Kethu-Mercury are the Ruling planets also! The present DB of Kethu-Rahu will run till Jan-2013. Jupiter anthara will be over by April-22, Saturn anthara by June-23 from then till August-18 the anthara of Mercury will run. I think this period need attention because Mercury is not only strong RP but 8th lord in the star of Jupiter (Asc sub lord) and sub of Rahu connected with 7-8 houses. Further Mercury is afflicted by Mars (significator for earth as well as destruction from Leo). Therefore during the Bhukthi of Rahu connected with Mars, mercury will give this result. If we observe the transit in the last week of June-2012, Mars is transiting over the 8th cusp. Kethu will be in Sun star and Venus sub in exact conjunction with Jupiter in Taurus! Rahu will be in Saturn star and Venus sub, Mercury is in Jupiter star and Rahu sub in exact trine to its radical position. Saturn will transit in Mars star and own sub. Sun will transit in Mercury sign and Rahu star. All planets are transiting in the stars or subs of Significators for 8th house as well as ruling planets. Further there was a new moon day just three/four days before. As Mercury denotes north direction and transiting in the sign denoting north direction I think there may be an earth quake in Northern India. Interestingly Uranus is also transiting in the sub of Rahu, Neptune in the star of Rahu and Jupiter sub. The above analysis is only my academic interest readers will appreciate that. Further out of curiosity I verified the time of Solar Ingress into Aries in New Delhi our capital city and following is the map:
