It may be also worth knowing that any child who has had 30 days absent in the last 100 has to be notified to DOCs. This is regardless of whether or not their absences are explained. Should you be late, your child will need to be brought to the front office for a late slip which is then given to the classroom teacher.

P&F News
Welcome BBQ Due to the advertised date clashing with the German Band visit to Tenterfield the P&F have decided to hold the BBQ on Friday 15th March at 6pm. This is a chance to welcome new families to the school community. Please mark this date on your social calendar. The cost for the BBQ will be as follows: Steak Sandwich/Coleslaw $5.00 Sausage Sandwich/Coleslaw $2.00 BYO DrinksNo Alcohol please Disco To coincide with the BBQ we are having a disco. Children from K-2 will be dancing and playing games from 5-6pm and Yrs 3-6 children will be dancing and playing games from 6-7pm. Please remember that supervision of your child/children is your responsibility at these functions. Deb Ball This year is Deb Ball year! We are calling for helpers and ideas. We need your help to come up with a theme and a color scheme for our 2013 Debutante Ball. There will be plenty of work for anyone who would like to offer their services - this event cant be run by just a few people - more hands less work! Please give this some thought as this is a major fundraiser for our School and a significant event in our town. At the next P&F Meeting on 18th March it is hoped to form a Deb Ball Committee so come along or contact Gavin Brierley 0419 126115 with offers of help.
Thank you
A very big thank you to Mrs Lib Melling for organising free plants from Landcare for our garden below the tennis court. Years 5 and 6 students started to plant them today and younger students helped Mrs Tickle do more planting at recess.
