Kristine told her mom in kindergarten that she was going to be a teacher and is currently gaining her degree in elementary education with a minor in special education from UM-Western. Heres what she has to say about working at the Y: My favorite aspect of working at the Y is getting the opportunity to have fun and

A Note from Brett YOUTH DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

I thought Id take this
opportunity to introduce myself to those of you I havent met quite yet. Hi, Im Brett Mihelish the Youth Development Director. To the right youll see me and the best mutt a girl could ask for, Harper. Hes my 10 year old champ. A little background... marketing for a major insurance carrier. City life was great, but in 2010, I decided my family was more important and moved back to Montana. Howd I get to Butte children improve throughout a single Youth Sport session and witnessing new friendships develop during Afterschool & Summer Camp is refreshing. It is my desire to continuously improve our Youth Programs together and offer every child in Butte the opportunity to learn new skillsets and enjoy childhood! In 2012, with donor support, the Butte Family YMCA provided $129,000 in financial assistance to families, and we touched the lives of more than 1,500 children participating in our Youth Programs. Its an incredible feeling to be a part of all of this! Thank You for supporting Y programs! We couldn't do it without each of you!
