Wilderness Skills Trained in fire making, water collection, shelter building, trapping, plant identification, some animal tracking, some wilderness first aid, knots, repelling/belaying, canoeing, proper hiking, energy conservation, maps, GPS, compass triangulation, primitive tool making, rope work (bridges, pulley systems), general backpacking, and outdoor education. Arts: Radio: Served 4 years as a radio DJ for the WLFR radio station for the Richard Stockton College, and have experience with sound board technologies. Some experience using the ArcMap and ArcView programs, for simple land use and water shed map purposes. Have completed advanced arts related courses in drawing, sculpture, and painting. Licensed in operating and navigating small water crafts. (Boats up 15 ft.)

EXPERIENCE
Senior Research Project: February, 2012- Present Conserve Wildlife Foundation: With Habitat Manager Benjamin Wurst Research topic focused on incorporating reconciliation ecology and the conservation of raptor species. Specifically working with Ospreys, Peregrine Falcons, and Bald Eagles.

Research Assistant : June 2012-July 2012 Utila Island: Iguana Research and Breeding Station, Honduras Central America Assisted biologist Sophia Nunez, in the care and research of the Utila Spiny Tailed Iguana (Ctenosaura bakeri), an endemic/ endangered species. Assisted in the release of captive bred juveniles into wild habitat (mangroves), as well as cared for the new hatchlings. Field observation of wild iguanas, as well as helped develop a capture and release census.

Experience in public education of tropical ecology, and the Utila Spiny Tailed Iguana (Ctenosaura bakeri)

Teachers Assistant: July, 2011- August, 2011 Richard Stockton College of NJ, Wilderness Skills with Dr. Patrick Hossay Trained as a field leader in outdoor education, focused on wilderness skills.

International Study Program Richard Stockton College of NJ, and Galen University Belize Primary focus of study was in the ecology of tropical rainforests, and field studies in earth space sciences. Exceptional cultural experience including: traditions, local dialects, and social/political views.

Enrichment Volunteer Shy Wolf Sanctuary, Florida Assisted in an enrichment program for rescued wildlife, specifically wolves and cougars. Enrichment promoted natural behavior usually seen in the wild.

Kennel Representative: April, 2010 November, 2011 Pets Plus, Mays Landing, NJ 08330 Managed a small group of employees, and trained them in the skills necessary to maintain a sanitary environment for canines and felines. Responsible for the administration of medications and monthly vaccines. Exceptional experience in keeping medical , and inventory records using Microsoft products.
