TEACHING AND LEARNING
We believe in modern communicative methods of teaching where students are engaged and participate in interesting, relevant, meaningful, fun and effective lessons. We advocate topical subjects and focus on culture and the environment around us whilst using the latest course books and supplementary materials. Our teachers are all qualified, extremely professional and very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. The teaching staff come from different backgrounds and generations with different life experiences. Most have taught abroad. They all have the same aim to engage their students, cater to their needs and facilitate learning in a friendly atmosphere. At King Street we encourage ongoing professional development through the attendance of internal and external seminars and workshops. Many of our teachers go onto to take further teaching qualifications.

PROGRESS AND FEEDBACK

Kingstreet College encourages the monitoring of students progress throughout their learning journey. Students take an initial placement test and complete a needs analysis. Regular progress tests and tutorials are undertaken. End of term tests show when students are ready to change level.
