ThisSectorModelcanbeadaptedtoworkinanumberofways: Foragroupaddressingmultipleissues,thisSectormodelcanhelpmembersofa communityconfrontmanycriticalproblemswithoutoverlydilutingeffectivenessinany ofthem.Itassistseachindividualtofocustheirenergiesontheareathatintereststhem mostwhileknowingthattheotherareasarebeingattendedtoaswell.Italsoprovidesa meansforprojectstoaccessdifferentskillsacrossSectors. HereisadiagramandbasicoutlineoftheSolutionsgrouproles,structure,andprocess.The mainideabehindthisstructureistokeepeveryoneinformedofwhatshappeningbeyondtheir ownareaoffocusandtofacilitatesharingofneedsandresources. SolutionsGroupmeets,ledbytheWholeGroupFacilitator,andparticipantsidentify whichSector(s)theyaredrawnto. SectorGroupsform,chooseaFacilitatorandRepresentative,andmeettodiscuss visions,goals,criticalissues,strategies,etc. CriticalIssueTeamsformineachSector.Asneeded,theyaccesstheskillsand resourcesofotherSectorsthroughtheSynergyTeam. TheSynergyTeam,whichincludesSectorRepresentativesandisfacilitatedbyaWhole SystemCoordinator,meetsonaregularbasistoreportonprogressineachSectorand togainaholisticviewofgroupactionsandneeds.TheSynergyTeamhelpsbring awarenesstothegreaterpotentialoftheentireSolutionsgroup.
