The Following events are a part of the fourth edition of the traditional and popular COMPSA FEST which

is a technical and cultural event. It is a state-level event and has had three glorious fests. Through this festival we stress upon holistic development of students. An environment is created to learn and experience different genres.

TECHNICAL EVENTS
1.#INCLUDE
#INCLUDE is a competition designed, solely to test the programming skills of the participants in C & C++. It will be held in 3 stages: a) Aptitude test - All participants will have to appear for the aptitude test, which will feature 30 questions on basics of 'C' language. b) Notepad Programming- Top 30 teams from Aptitude test will appear from debugging round. c) Programming - This round ensures top 10 participants from debugging round will show their actual programming abilities. Prizes - I prize - 3000/II prize - 1000/Participation fees - 100/- per team (A team can have max. 2 members) Certificates to all those clearing the Aptitude.

2. WEB DESIGNING
It is an opportunity for students to design web pages in HTML without using CSS . It will consist of two rounds. Prizes - I prize - 3000/II prize - 1000/Participation fees - 50/- per person Certificates to all who clear aptitude test.

3.VIRTUAL CAMPUS
As campus recruitment is the mission on which every engineer is, Virtual Campus is a good platform for them to certify their potentials. Designed exactly on the lines of an actual campus recruitment process, Virtual campus has the following rounds. a) Aptitude - A plain aptitude test comprising of 50 questions will be conducted. b) Personal Interview - Top 50 entries of the aptitude test will be selected for the interview. HR and technical interview will be common. Prizes - I prize - 2500/II prize - 1500/III prize - 1000/Participation fees - 20/Certificates for all those clearing the aptitude.

4.ANDROID WORKSHOP
A workshop on basics of Android programming will be conducted on two days wherein the students will get familiar to the development of Android. Entry fee: 200/Certificates to all participants will be provided.

5.RED HAT LINUX WORKSHOP

A full day workshop on Red hat Linux will be held on 7th February,2013 whrein students will learn about open source operating system Linux.It will be taught by leading faculty in Aurangabad. Entry fee: 200/Certificates to all participants will be provided.

6. WEB QUEST
It is an online treasure hunt wherein students will be required to use their technical skills as well as speed. It is being conducted for the first time. Prize - I prize - 2000/II PRIZE - 1000/Participation fees - 50/- per person Certificates to will be provided to contestants who enter Round 2.

7.PAPER PRESENTATIONS:
Students are required to submit their abstracts on the topics provided on the website. The best entries will be allowed to present their papers before a distinguished faculty. Prize - I prize - 2000/-(Core and Non-Core) II PRIZE - 1000/Participation fees - 50/- per person. Certificates to will be provided to contestants who enter Round 2.

CULTURAL EVENTS

1.PERSONALITY CONTEST
Personality contest, a rare event is the real charm of the fest. Mr. & Miss. COMPSA FEST will be decided in the following three stages: a) Aptitude - A plain aptitude test comprising of 50 questions will be conducted. b) Group Discussion - A GD of top 150 candidates will be conducted in groups of 10. c) Finale - An on stage finale with some interesting and entertaining rounds will be held, consisting of 6 entries of each boys and girls.

Prizes (for Mr. and Miss each) - I prize - 3000/II prize - 2000/III prize - 1000/Participation fees - 20/Certificates for all those clearing the aptitude and gift hampers for all finalists.

2. ART GALLERY
Art gallery is for the artist from different art fields to explore their artistic skills. Arts which are welcomed in the competition are paintings, photographs, sketch etc. Prizes: I prize- 1000. II prize- 500. Participation fees - 50/- . Certificates will be given to all the participants.

3.ART WORKSOP
An art workshop will be conducted on two days.Varli painting and One stroke painting will be taught. Entry fee: 200.

4. MOVIE MAKING
With the cameras improving in quality and decreasing in prices all the time, clicking and hence Movie making has of late become an interest for the generation. Movie making with a great response last time, this time too features showing the movie to the judges and defending their questions. A team can comprise of max. 4 members. Prizes (each category): I prize - 3000/II prize - 2000/Participation fees - 100/- per team. Certificates to all participants.

5. POSTER COMPETITION

Participants of poster competition will have to present their poster on any one of the given topics and present to judges and anyone else. Better the poster and better the presentation, higher will be teams' chances to win it. Prize - I prize - 1500/II PRIZE - 1000/Participation fees - 50/- per team. (A team can have max. two members) Certificates to all participants.

7. TREASURE HUNT
A group of 5 students will decrypt clues and find the hidden treasure or the final reward. This will enhance their team ability and brain power. Prizes - I prize - 5000/Certificates to all. Participation fees - 50/- per person

8.LAN GAMING

LAN gaming, a competition for those with PC-gaming a hobby, will have 3 games : Counter strike, NFS and Angry birds. All of them will be conducted separately. The matches between participants will be knock-out ones and the same will continue till we have the winners. Prizes- I prize- 500/-(all games) Entry fee: 30
