TRASFER MACHINES

ABSTRACT
With the advancements in engineering and technology the complexity of the parts has increased leading to complexity in their production. The production industry has always focused on factors like increased output, reduction in handling time, conservation of floor space, reducing labour etc. inspite of the drastic increase in steps required to manufacture a product. With the invention of the transfer machines, large automatic installation was possible. It is capable of performing different machining operations simultaneously. Now a days Robotics have been integrated with transfer machines. It helps to further reduce labour, handling time, conservation of floor space and cost. Ultimately transfer machining helps to increase the product quality.
