At AXIS (MNC,) where I worked there was situation at one point of time at which there were 2 Techniques for developing the Acceptance Test Suit of scripts 1. Descriptive Technique Which is laborious and cumbersome.2. Object Repository (OR) Technique a good feature provided by the testing tool QTP (Quick Test Professional). OVERALL,ITS A GOOD RESPONSE FROM SUPERIORS THAT I HAVE CARRIED OUT PERFORMANCE/TEAM BUILDING. My Manager was reluctant to work with the OR technique thinking that Descriptive is thebest method. Actions : I used a data based approach for decision making, listed the pros and cons of both the methods, made a presentation and managed to convince my Manager and REGIONAL HEADS & THEY HAVE GOT IMPRESSED.
