II: Free Hymns for the Earth candlelight benefit concert is Saturday in Marquette to benefit an interfaith community gardens across northern Michigan The public is invited to the free EarthKeepers II Hymns for the Earth candlelight benefit concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 in the Messiah Lutheran Church at 305 W Magnetic Street in Marquette to support an interfaith garden project across the Upper Peninsula. The concert will feature Father Ryan Ford, a priest and pianist from the St. Peters Cathedral in Marquette who will play compositions from Beethoven and Brahms and other selected works. Donations will help the interfaith EarthKeepers II 2013 goals that include planting 30 community gardens across the Upper Peninsula. EarthKeepers II partners include leaders from the Roman Catholic, Buddhist, Lutheran (ELCA), United Methodist, Episcopal, Jewish, Presbyterian, Unitarian Universalist, Baha'i and American Friends (Quaker) faith communities.
