O vocbulo "Destravar", segundo o Aurelio, significa desprender do travo ou das travas. Desembaraar; soltar, desentravar. Para ns, dvdmanacos, significa "liberdade de expresso". Por que no deixar que ns, mortais do 3 Mundo, possamos assistir a filmes que j saram em DVD nos Estados Unidos? Como voc deve estar sabendo, o mundo foi dividido em REGIES, para que no pudssemos assistir a ttulos de uma regio diferente da nossa. Mas como o ser humano no acomodado, logo surgiu o "Movimento Abaixo s Regies", do qual somos filiados. "Destravar" no um ato delituoso, apenas um atalho para a diverso! E aqui voc ficar sabendo das SENHAS para destravar seu aparelho pelo controle remoto. Por enquanto, a maioria dos DVDs em territrio nacional no est plugada nos computadores e sim em aparelhos de TV. Enquanto o DVD-ROM engatinha, o preo dos DVD Players domsticos segue caindo e trazendo mais adeptos ao formato. Como esses aparelhos tambm possuem limitaes de regio, compilamos uma lista de cdigos para alguns modelos. Os cdigos de destravamento aqui listados no exigem interveno no hardware. Se seu modelo de player no estiver na lista, mande um e-mail para a gente e j se prepare para chorar: muitos players no podem ser destravados sem abrir o aparelho e mexer nos componentes internos. Uma observao: por saber que muitas vezes o mesmo cdigo no funciona em aparelhos idnticos (mesma marca e modelo), temos procurado constantemente por novos cdigos. Neste manual mesmo h casos em que um nico modelo possui mais de um cdigo ou forma de desbloqueio, o que poder ser notado, onde alguns so fornecidos pelo prprio fabricante e a grande maioria descoberta por curiosos.

Pergunta: POR QUE MUITAS VEZES O MESMO CDIGO NO FUNCIONA EM APARELHOS IDNTICOS??? Resposta: Porque muitas vezes o fabricante faz uma alterao qualquer no aparelho, seja substituindo, acrescentando ou eliminando um

componente qualquer do equipamento. Como na maioria das vezes esta mudana no caracteriza uma melhora ou queda notvel no desempenho do equipamento, ele continua sendo comercializado com o mesmo modelo. S se muda ou lana um modelo novo no mercado quando estas alteraes tcnicas melhoram ou acrescentam recursos ao aparelho.

Destravando DVD-ROMS O sistema de zoneamento criado pela MPAA e seus associados pode ate ser justo sob o ponto de vista deles. Mas legalmente, no tem validade nenhuma e voc no infligir qualquer lei se criar mecanismos para rodar um disco de DVD gerado por uma regio num player de outra rea. O destravamento um processo relativamente simples. E primeiro lugar, voc ter que fazer o download de 3 programas: ___REMOTE SELECTOR: Este pequenino programa o que destrava o DVD player. Com ele voc pode escolher qual a regio quer assistir, bem como desativar o Macovision e escolher o sistema de cor e freqncia (NTSC/PAL, 60/50Hz), entre outras funes. ___DRIVE REGION INF: Este um dos mais importantes, pois com ele voc determinara qual o firmware do seu drive de DVD-ROM, e para qual firmware voc devera atualiza-lo. Se voc atualizar para o firmware errado, pode danificar seu drive irreversivelmente. ___FIRMWARE: Este o novo firmware do seu DVD. escolha-o baseado no que o Drive Region Info informar. A escolha do firmware errado pode danificar seu drive de DVD-ROM. O firmware a parte de software includa no aparelho pelo fabricante, contendo as informaes bsicas dele. Entretanto, no pode ser gravado e regravado a vontade. Em modelos antigos, o firmware s era atualizado trocando-se o chip do fabricante. Em modelos recentes, gravados no esquema de memria EPROM, geralmente possvel gravar apenas uma vez a atualizao. Passo 2 - Saia do Drive Info, e faca o download do firmware que o drive Info lhe recomendou. O firmware pode ser encontrado no diretrio de downloads do VisualDomain; Passo 3 - Descompacte o arquivo em um diretrio, por exemplo c:\firmware. Esse programa faz a atualizao da memria flash do seu drive DVD-ROM. este processo o mais critico, pois se algo errado ocorrer, seu drive DVD pode ser danificado. tenha certeza que fez o download do arquivo certo antes de prosseguir. Passo 4 - voc tem que saber onde esta ligado o seu DVD-ROM, se ele esta ligado na IDE primaria ou secundaria e se ele mster ou slave. se no souber identificar isso, melhor voc pedir a ajuda de algum tcnico, pois se der informao errada ao programa de atualizao ele no funciona. Passo 5 - Descompactando o firmware correto, sabendo onde esta ligado seu DVDROM, chegou a hora de efetuar a atualizao. Reinicie o micro e pressione F8 durante o carregamento do Windows. No menu, escolha a opo: Command Prompt Only (Somente Prompt). Entre no diretrio onde voc descompactou os programas de atualizao (ex:\firmware). L voc encontrara um programa chamado upgrade.bat. Execute-o e informe a configurao do seu DVD-ROM, IDE principal/secundrio, mster ou slave. CERTO DE TER ESCOLHIDO AS opes CORRETAS< PROSSIGA> A atualizao demora uns 40 segundos e deve aparecer uma mensagem informando que a operao foi bem sucedida (Flash Write for MKEV3DVD 090402 sum:xxxx(800-BFD) sum:xxxx(COO-FFD) sum:xxxx(1010-1FFFF) Program Change Command succes Write Microcode Command). Se tudo correu bem, seu drive j esta destravado. Mas se ainda assim voc enfrentar problemas com regies, porque, provavelmente esta usando uma placa me com chips da VIA (AMD). Para corrigir este problema, desabilite o DMA para o drive DVD-ROM, se ainda assim no funcionar, atualiza o driver IDE da VIA. CDIGOS PARA DESBLOQUEAR DVD-PLAYERS A-TREND AD-L528 Modo 1 Multiregio: 1. Ligue o DVD player e verifique se h algum disco no compartimento. Se houver, retire; 2. pressione 'stop' no controle remoto; 3. pressione '1','9','9','9' e ento 'enter'; 4. Um menu de regies ir aparecer; 5. selecione 'all' para liberar o aparelho para multirego. Modo 2 1. Ligue o DVD player e verifique se h algum disco no compartimento. Se houver, retire; 2. Tecle 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 no controle e a palavra CODE dever aparecer na tela ou OSD do DVD player; 3. Pressione o nmero da regio que deseja habilitar. Ex: 1 para EUA; 4. Pressione pause; 5. Desligue o aparelho e ligue novamente. Lembre-se que DVDs mais novos com Enhanced regional coding podem no funcionar com regio 0. LE511 1. Ligue o DVD player;

2. Pressione: STOP, 1, 9, 9, 9; 3. Um menu secreto ir aparecer; 4. Modifique o campo ZONE para ALL. ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS DVD551 1. Ligue o DVD player e verifique se h algum disco no compartimento. Se houver, retire; 2. Pressione "Setup" no controle; 3. Pressione Next, Stop, Pause, Prev, Next; 4. Isto far surgir o Region ID, v com a seta para "bypass" para multiregio; 5. Pressione "Select/play" para confirmar. Voc ter que selecionar regio 1 se voc quiser rodar discos com codificao RCE encoded discs. Infelizmente no possvel desabilitar o Macrovision atravs deste menu. AFREEY ADV-2360 Antes de iniciar, verifique se no h disco no compartimento. Se houver, retire para ento comear. 1. Ligue o ADV-2360 e abra a gaveta; 2. Pressione SETUP no controle e v para o menu; 3. No menu de configurao, pressione a seguinte sequncia: ZOOM, PREV, NEXT. Surgir no topo da tela o seguinte: "XX1XX"; 4. Com as setas do controle remoto, pressione as teclas direita (ou right) ou esquerda (ou left) para mudar para a regio desejada; 5. Pressione e mantenha pressionada a tecla "MENU" do aparelho (no no controle),

enquanto voc mantm a tecla anterior pressionada, faa o memso com "TOP MENU" (agora so dois botes pressionados simultaneamente) e finalmente pressione "OSD" (voc precisa seguir a seqncia mantendo as teclas citadas pressionadas). Desligue o aparelho por alguns segundos; 7. Ligue novamente. XV-DV480 1. Ligue-o pelo controle e verifique se h disco no compartimento. Aguarde 5 segundos para que a EPROM seja atualizada; 8. Ligue novamente coloque um disco de qualquer regio e assista ao seu filme. XD-DW1 Modo 1 (Para aparelhos importados dos EUA) 1. Ligue o aparelho; 2. Insira um DVD qualquer; 3. Abra o compartimento, retire o disco e feche em seguida; 4. Pressione imediatamente a tecla STOP e aguarde alguns segundos; 5. Entre com o cdigo 8,7,1,0 e ento >> no controle remoto; 6. O aparelho estar liberado para qualquer regio. Se preferir, ou for utilizar um disco com RCE use: 8,7,1,0,1 para regio 1

O aparelho estar liberado para qualquer regio. Substitua o X pela regio para qual deseja liberar. Modo 2 1. Ligue o aparelho; 2. Insira um DVD qualquer; 3. Abra o compartimento, retire o disco e feche em seguida; 4. Pressione imediatamente a tecla STOP e aguarde alguns segundos; 5. Entre com o cdigo 8,7,2,0 e ento >> no controle remoto; 6. O aparelho estar liberado para qualquer regio. Se preferir, ou for utilizar um disco com RCE use: 8,7,2,0,1 para regio 1 8,7,2,0,2 para regio 2 etc... AKAI DV-P1000 OBS: Tomar muito cuidado ao acessar a rea de ajustes deste player. Voce ter acesso a diversos ajustes que podero levar o aparelho a um black-out permanente. Anote todos os dados antes de realizar as alteraes. 1. Desligue o aparelho atravs da tecla do painel. 2. Acione e segure as teclas 'Eject' e 'A-B', ao mesmo tempo, ento acione a tecla 'on/off' para ligar o aparelho. 3. Quando o texto 'A:00 D:12'(ou similar) aparecer no display, solte as duas teclas (Eject e A-B) 4. Pressionando a tecla 'Play' para subir e a tecla 'Stop' para descer, mude o valor de 'A' at ler 'A:05' 5. Mude o valor de D para D:01 para regio 1 exclusivamente ou D:02 para regio 2 exclusivamente, ou em casos em que o disco tiver RCE. DV-P2000 Este cdigo NO funciona nos mais recentes aparelhos. A tecla preta no foi instalada! 1. Desligue o aparelho. 2. Mantenha acionadas as teclas as teclas 'Fast Forward' e 'Stop' juntas com a tecla preta localizada direita, no lado inferior do aparelho. Ento, acione a tecla 'on/off' para ligar o aparelho. 3. Quando aparecer o logo da Akai, libere oas teclas 'Fast Forward' e 'Stop', mas mantenha a tecla preta acionada. 4. Uma lista de muneros aparecero na tela. Pressione uma vez a tecla 'Enter' no controle remoto. Isto permitir selecionar a segunda coluna de nmeros. 5. Pressione DISPLAY sem nenhum disco dentro do compartimento; 3. selecione display e mude de STANDARD para PAL, no contendo outro em especfico. AMOISONIC DVD-8506 1. Ligue o aparelho e abra a bandeja; 2. Sem disco inserido, pressione no controle remoto 0108X; 3. Ligue e faa o teste. Se este cdigo no funcionar, comece tudo de novo e tente o cdigo 0106X.

AUDIOVOX DV1680 Para mudar as regies de leitura voc deve utilizar o controle, pressionando as seguintes teclas: SETUP +10 PREV NEXT Uma tela surgir mostrando que seu DVD Player habilitado para Regio 1. Use as teclas direita e esquerda para selecionar a regio que deseja rodar. Quando a regio desejada for selecionada, pressione a tecla SETUP para sair. Observe que voc pode selecionar regio 0, o que habilitar o aparelho a ler discos de qualquer regio, porm os DVDs mais recentes protegidos com RCE no iro rodar. BLUESKY DS-8315 1 - Abra o compartimento atravs do controle; 2 - Pressione a sequencia 8, 4, 2, e 1; 3 - Escolha a zona desejada no menu. O seu televisor dever tambm estar ajustado para PAL-N. D-10 1. Sem o disco na gaveta 2. Digite no controle 31 41 59 00 3. Aperte a tecla EXIT 4. Bom, nesse caso seu dia de sorte. Usando o famoso software OmniRemote da Pacific Neo-Tek (www.pacificneotek.com) possvel utilizar este cdigo. OmniRemote um aplicativo que transforma o Palm em um controle remoto programvel. Usando o arquivo pdb correto, que voc pode conseguir me pedindo (mmcareta2002@bol.ocm.br) , ser possvel usar o cdigo RC6. Activate "System Messages" using the Service Menu. 3. Leave the Service Menu and get into the "System Informations" Menu. 4. When you see the System Infos, enter the following code on the remote control. Note that the player will not print the code on the screen, you have to enter it blindly. The code is: 70307192 (This is the one that differs from the 5100 model.) 5. A system message should appear. It will not appear if you got the code wrong or if you did not activate system messages in the service menu. Confirm the message with OK on your remote. 6. Now a window appears in which you can change your region code. Values 1 to 8 and "none" are possible. "none" will disable the internal check of region codes (i.e. makes the player CodeFree), but RCE titles might not work. If you do it right, in the corner of TV where appears "No Disc" will be say "Region Free", in the Player Screen say "ADJUST" and the tray must close, and you are ready to enjoy the movie on your player. Your DVD is now REGION FREE until you turn it off, while you don't turn it off, you can change movies whatever times you want. If you

Open the tray, on the remote, push 2-1-8-0. Then push the number of the region you want. For example 2-1-8-0-2 gives you Region 2. For Region-Free, push 2-18-0-9

Power "on". Press and hold "stop" and then "open/close"+"skip fwd" on the player (not the remote) for 3 sec. Hidden menu appears on TV: Mark "REGIONAL NUMBER" and press "select" on remote. Menu: "REGIONAL NO 1,2,3,4,5,6,FREE". Mark "FREE" and press "SELECT" on the remote.

United DVD 1155

Open tray, enter 8926 (you'll see **** on the top left of the screen). Enter region code of your choice (1-9. 9 is all regions) (you'll see the number of the region selected on the top left of the screen). push play Or

Hold Stop, Turn on, Press open/close and Skip(=>>) at the same time. Select region on the menu that appears

Make sure you dont have any DVD inserted and Door Closed. With the remote control: press SETUP, NEXT, STOP, PAUSE/STEP, press PREV, press NEXT.

Turn the machine on and open up the DVD tray. Using the remote control press 9817 or 3838, and the magic menu appears. Change the region to whatever you want or set it to 9, which is Multiregion - press the "ent" button until it matches your choice. You can also alter macrovision from this menu.

Turn machine on by power on button not from stand by. Open drawer, while drawer is open. Type in 9,8,1,7. Press ENT. Until you reach region 9, then press RETURN. Close drawer, Switch machine OFF then ON again.

Turn the player on. Using the remote control, key in the following: Setup, Next, Stop, Pause, Prev, Next. You should now be in a hidden menu. Using the remote control, press Arrow button to the REGION ID. Press Arrow Up and Arrow Down to change region from VER1 to VER6 or select BYPASS for region free. Press Select, then Setup on the remote control. Insert the DVD into the player tray and then press Play.

When "Set-up Menu" appears while pressing following buttons, the screen remains the same. Please do not place the disc inside the unit while doing the sequence for the region code. Press, "Setup", Press "1" for region 1, "2" for region 2 etc. or "7" for bypass all region codes. Press "PAUSE/STEP". Press |<< "Previous, Press |>> "Next", Press "Setup".

Open the DVD-Drive, On the remote enter the Code "2168+Regioncode(1-6)" and Close the DVD-Drive.

Power on the DVD without any CD inside. Press on your remote: set-up, step, ffwd, fbwd Now press: pause, stop, key + or key -, With the key + or key- you can change it to Region 0. Now leave the Region to 0 for a code free DVD.

You'll need a One-for-All 6 remote with the code 0539. Power on the unit and then key in 085. The players display should then show a series of dashes. Press 222 222 005 255 and then 'play'

Turn on player and wait for "no disk". Use remote and push the following buttons, set up, mute, stop, zoom.

Yelo 800 DVD

Press "EJECT, SETUP, MUTE, LAST, NEXT" buttons one after another and you will be given a Factory Control Page where you should select the Region ID option. Here you should find it set to REGION BYPASS. (Which you would normally leave it on).

Yukai DVD-V300
This is the same hack as Mustek DVD V300 because the players are the same.

Power up DVD without a disk. Press set-up on the remote. On the player press next,prev,next,prev. Region code should be displayed on top right corner of screen. Use the keys on the remote to: Use left/right arrow keys to change region code to 255. Press down arrow. 3001 should be displayed. Use left/right arrow to change to 3000. Press down arrow. 4001 should be displayed. Use left/right arrow to change to 4000.

Yukai V520
Power on the unit and using the remote press 'Setup', 'Next', 'Previous', 'Next' and 'Previous'. A service menu should then appear with a 'Region ID' option indicated. Using the arrow keys set to '255'. Press the 'Setup' button on the remote.

Zenith DVC2200, Zenith DVC2550, Zenith DVD2201, Zenith DVD2381, Zenith DVD5201, Zenith IQDVC2350, Zenix Z-2001
Power on the player with no disk in the drive. Press "PAUSE" on the remote. Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word COdE appears on the display). Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.) . Press "PAUSE" on the remote. Power the player off and then back on
