Getting Started
Do you want to eat an expensive steak without the cost? Many people think they do not have the skills to grill a good steak. However, with a little preparation and time, it is quite simple. In this instruction manual, you will learn the basics of learning how to grill a rib-eye steak. If you are under the age of fourteen, parental supervision is advised for using the materials.

Materials
In order to perfect your rib-eye steak, you will need a few materials. You should take these materials out before preparing to grill the steak: 1 16oz Rib-eye steak 1 one-gallon zip lock bag 2 cups red wine (any brand) 1 teaspoon garlic (chopped) 1 gas grill with all parts 1 plate 1 Grill Tongs Napkin (optional) 1 timer/iPhone 1 steak knife 1 cooking fork 1 dinner fork 1 cutting board 1 grill scraper

Some of these materials have safety guidelines. You should not touch the gas grill on any cooking surface. Also, take precaution when using any cutlery. If you are under the age of 14, have a parent present.

Preparing the Steak


Before you start grilling your steak, you will need to marinade it 24 hours in advance. Here is what you should do: 1.) 2.) 3.) 4.) 5.) Open the plastic bag. Unwrap the steak from all packaging. Place steak onto a cutting board. Using the cooking fork, puncture the steak 15 times. Place the steak into the plastic bag. (Refer to figure 1.1) 3

Put 1 teaspoon of garlic into plastic bag. Pour the 2 cups of red wine into the plastic bag. Place bag into refrigerator for 24 hours. Flip the bag every 4 hours.

Caution: Cooking fork is sharp.

With these preparations you are ready to grill your rib-eye steak. But take note that you will be dealing with a hot grill.

Grilling the rib-eye steak


The next portion of grilling the steak takes approximately 7-9 minutes on each side to completely cook. The tools that are needed are a grill, grill tongs, timer, and plate. Grilling the steak requires the following instructions:

Preparing the Grill


Before actually grilling your steak, you need to prepare the grill by preheating it. Here is what you should do: 1.) 2.) 3.) 4.) 5.) Check to make sure that the propane tank is properly connected to the grill. Turn the propane knob 180 degrees to the left. Turn the temperature valve knobs to 140 degrees or medium-high heat. Check to see if the arrow lines up with the 140 degree mark. Press the ignite button; this will turn on the grill. 4

After you have completed these steps you are now ready to start grilling your rib-eye steak.

Grilling the steak


1.) 2.) 3.) 4.) Retrieve steak from refrigerator. Open grill lid. Unzip Ziploc bag. While holding the bag in one hand, use the grill tongs in the other hand to firmly grasp the steak. 5.) Slowly remove the steak from the bag. 6.) Place the steak onto the lit grill burner. (Refer to figure 1.2)

7.) Close grill lid. 8.) Set the kitchen timer for 7-9 minutes. 9.) After the timer goes off open the grill lid. 10.) Using the grill tongs, flip the steak 180 degrees to the uncooked side. 11.) Release steak. 12.) Repeat steps 7-9. 13.) Using the grill tongs, remove the steak. 14.) Place the steak on the plate.

Cleaning the Grill


Before you can start eating, you will need to clean your workspace. Following these steps will make the cleaning up process quick and easy: 1.) Turn the propane knob 180 degrees to the right. 2.) Check to make sure the burner is off. 3.) Pick up the grill scraper. 4.) Scrub the grill surface with the grill scraper until clean. 5.) Close grill lid. 6.) Cover grill. Now that your grill is clean, you can enjoy freshly made steak.

Caution: Grill will still be hot.

Conclusion
In summary, making a rib-eye steak is not hard and is very enjoyable after you have made it. Only requiring minimum food products and a grill, you can grill a steak. So when you want a freshly made steak without the cost, follow these directions.

Troubleshooting Guide
Problem The burner will not ignite The meat looks spoiled What if I do not have a kitchen fork? What if I am vegan? Problem Solution(s) Cautiously light the burner using extended lighter; be sure the propane is on. Check the expiration date. You can either use a dinner fork or steak knife. Grill the instruction manual and eat it.
