We can get you in touch with one of our vintage car companies for an entrance up the tree lined drive way or arrive by boat across the Kenmare River or for a truly dramatic entrance our helicopter landing area can be used in front of the hotel.

The town of Sneem, located 5 minutes from Parknasilla, has beautiful churches of both Catholic and Protestant denominations. For those opting for a civil ceremony outside of a church Parknasilla Resort is ideal. The 500 acres of magnificent landscape leaves you many choices for a private ceremony surrounded by the Kerry Mountains and facing the lapping waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Outdoors would be perfect for a summers day. For winter weddings we offer a romantic setting indoors at Parknasilla Resort with soft lighting along with your own design thoughts on how you envisaged your wedding ceremony to be. Relax in our atmospheric Shaw Lounge, located on the ground floor with views overlooking the terrace and onto Kenmare Bay. This beautiful room boasts antique bay windows that flood the room with light. With lush green fairways flanked by the Kenmare Bay and the Kerry mountains and set beside the ruins of Derryquin Castle, Parknasilla golf course is a must for golfers from your wedding party looking to relax with a fantastic round of golf. Step out of the hotel and find yourself on our 12-hole course within minutes. The course has a par of 69 (18 holes), with one par five and two par threes. Whatever your handicap, youll have an opportunity to open your shoulders safely on some holes and do so at your peril on others, thanks to our clever mix of open and tight fairways. Discover true putting surfaces all year round on our sand-based greens and find out why Irish golfing legend and Parknasilla regular, Christy OConnor Jnr, is so impressed by our fifth hole. Finish your round with the two most memorable holes on the Parknasilla course. Shoot the green on the eleventh and your ball will find the saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean while our twelfth is spectacularly placed in Kenmare Bay between large pines that skirt both sides of the fairway. Youll find Parknasilla resort just minutes away from the peaceful and romantic little village of Sneem, part of the famous Ring of Kerry Irelands scenic 110-mile drive taking in gorgeous coastal and mountain scenery. Directions from Kerry Airport Our closest airport is Farranfore, Kerry Airport (60km). Taxis and hire cars are available at the airport. From the airport take the N22 to Killarney. From Killarney take the N71 for Sneem or the scenic route known as Molls Gap. At Molls Gap turn right for Sneem. From Sneem village turn left onto the Kenmare Road. From here its only two miles to Parknasilla Resort. Our closest train station is Killarney. We can organise a chauffeur-driven car for you at an extra charge. Terms & Conditions


A non-refundable deposit of 2000.00 is required at the time of booking to secure the date of your wedding. A credit card will also be needed to secure the booking. A schedule of payments will then be discussed in the lead up to the wedding day.

Our policy is to receive 50% six months prior to the event, a further 25% three months prior. The outstanding account is to be settled 14 days prior to the wedding along with confirmation of final number; any extras should be settled in full on departure. VENUE HIRE Wedding Parties of more than 50 guests will have exclusive use if the public areas of the Resort from 3pm on the day of the Wedding until 12 noon the following day. A venue fee of xxx on the xx/xx/2013 or a commitment to 100 rooms across the period booked by the wedding group and minimum numbers of 150 persons. In terms of rooms, these refer to the rooms in the main hotel and include a maximum of two Lodges in your requirements and these will count as two rooms in total per night. The Bride & Groom will be responsible for the percentage of rooms unsold in relation to the venue fee. CANCELLATIONS In the event of any cancellation by the client the following cancellation charges will be incurred: 9 months prior to the date of the event 30% of the services booked Between 5 and 3 months prior to the date of the event 50% of the services booked Between 2 and 3 months prior to the event 75% of the services booked Within 1 month of the event date 100% of the services booked CANCELLATION INSURANCE POLICY The hotel recommends that an insurance against cancellation is taken out. This can be arranged through an Insurance Broker, ensuring reimbursement of the cancellation charge referred to above, in the event of cancellation as a result of most causes, with the main exclusions of financial reasons or lack of support. PAYMENT The client is fully responsible for all costs in accordance with the agreement. Final numbers must be given 48hours prior to the event and this is the final number that you will be charged for, except if the number increases, in which case the larger of the number must be paid for. After the event the outstanding balance is due on departure. After this date the hotel reserves the right to include interest at 1% per day. All cheques must be made payable to Parknasilla Resort T/A Silork Ltd. MISCELLANEOUS All prices are in Euro and are inclusive of VAT, may be subject to proportionate increases according to rises in food, labour, taxes or unforeseen circumstances. The hotel is entitled to annul the contract without obligation to pay compensation of any kind by reason of strike, lockout, fire, restrictions in deliveries or other special circumstance beyond the control of the hotel. The bar will remain open until 2.30am. The hotel reserves the right to close the bar prior to the stated times should the situation arise. Menu choices must be made at least 1 month prior to your wedding date. All table plans must be submitted electronically 48hrs prior to the wedding day. Guests are respectfully requested to vacate their rooms by 12pm. Therefore, if an early arrival is anticipated, accommodation may not be ready until approximately 3.00pm. No corkage is offered at Parknasilla Resort. Your wedding booking will not be confirmed until deposit and signed terms and conditions are received.
