Until just recently, I have been Amanda's immediate supervisor for two years in the Afterschool and Summer Camp programs at Concordia Place. I found her to be dependable, knowledgeable, and an all-around wonderfully positive person to work wirh.
Besides being a joy to work with, Amanda was a well-respected teacher and a great asset to have in the classroom. the Concordia curriculum. Amanda shows a thorough knowledge of child development and shows a great interest in increasing her knowledge of child development throughout her developing career.
Amanda is highly effective in the classroom and was a wonderful advantage to the program as a whole as well. Amanda shows a high level of professionalism in the way she communicated with her supervisor, other staff, parents, and children. She is very creative in the classroom sharing and implementing own ideas, but she is also an incredible team player who is very receptive to suggestions from others. She was in constant communication with other staff around her, and throughout the organization, with suggestions for programming and things that could be done to enrich it.
