Whats the Purpose?

Every man has the desire to be a champion. In the world in which we live, there is so much pressure placed upon men to succeed at all costs. The Strength of a Champion Mens Conference is designed to help men be real champions in their relationships with God, family, friends and others. This Friday evening and Saturday morning conference will feature some great communicators who will help each man attending understand how to succeed in these four critical areas. The conference will also provide a dynamic worship experience and a great time of fellowship.

Jonathan Falwell is pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also, the Chairman of the Board of Gleaning for the World rated the most effective charity of 2011 by Forbes Magazine. Jonathan serves as Executive Vice President of Spiritual Affairs at Liberty University. Author of three books: Innovate Church (B & H), One Great Truth (Howard Publishers) and 1000 Days (Thomas Nelson Publishers.) He is married to Shari, dad to Jonathan Jr., Jessica, Natalie and Nicholas.

Charles Billingsley

Charles Billingsley is a Christian singer, worship leader, songwriter, speaker and author. He began his solo career the day after he graduated from Samford University. After two years, he joined the Christian Contemporary Music group NewSong. In 1994, they released People Get Ready featuring Arise My Love. That album had four #1 hits. After two years with NewSong, Charles left to pursue a solo career, averaging 200 concerts a year. He and wife Shae have two sons, Caleb and Cooper.

Conference Cost

Dr. Ergun Caner is Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Arlington Baptist College in Texas. Along with his administrative duties, Caner teaches Theology, Church History and Apologetics. He has co-authored such books as Unveiling Islam (Kregel), Why Churches Die (B&H) and When Worldviews Collide (Lifeway). Raised as a devout Sunni Muslim along with his two brothers, Caner converted to Christianity in high school. After his conversion, he pursued his call to the ministry and education. He has a Masters degree from The Criswell College, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Theology from the University of South Africa.

Dr. Michael Catt has served as Senior Pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church since 1989. The church has 3,000 members and has averaged one hundred baptisms each year. Thousands have joined the church from Albany and 29 surrounding communities. The church established Sherwood Pictures in 2002 and has produced movies such as Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous.
