Welcome to the 2013 St. Albert Farmers Market!

We hope that you have had a productive off-season and are geared up for a summer full of success at Western Canadas Largest Outdoor Farmers Market! We have already been seeing new and familiar faces in and around the Market, and we are very excited to work with all of you. For those of you we have yet to meet, my name is Debbie Grant and I am the Market Manager. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact myself or James, the Market Assistant. We are always here to help you out. We can be found every Saturday at the Market, either roaming around or at the Chamber Booth in Stall 89C (Right in front of St. Albert Place)

We can also be reached via phone at 780.458.2833 or email TuesdayFriday at the St. Albert & District Chamber of Commerce office. We have some great new features at our market this year, and the best way to learn about them is through this newsletter. You will receive a copy of the Farmers Market Metro every week, and we strongly recommend that you read through it, as this is our primary mode of communication to you as vendors. It may be beneficial for you to hold on to these newsletters for your future reference. Wishing you a prosperous 2013 season, Debbie & James

Vendors are permitted to drive vehicles in to unload, but please drive straight out and set up only after unloading is completely finished. This allows for other vendors to enter and exit quickly. All vendors MUST BE COMPLETELY SET-UP AND READY BY 9:30 AM.

SET UP AND TAKE DOWN

Barricades are erected from 7:00 - 7:15

AM every Saturday. Once they are up, vendors are encouraged to begin set-up as early as possible.

A reminder that you must keep your booth open until the horn is heard at 3:00 PM. If you sell out of product early, please post a sign to inform customers and leave your stall assembled until the market is closed. 3:00 PM marks the end of the market. No products are to be sold after this point. At 3:15 PM, vendor vehicles will be permitted re-entry. Kindly have your stall packed up and off the road by 4:00 PM. Between 4 & 4:30 PM barricades will be lifted and the streets will be open to general traffic.

There will be a 9:20 AM cutoff for vehicles to enter into the market area, and all vehicles must be off the street by 9:30 AM.

This is a rain or shine market. No-shows are not acceptable

Each vendor is responsible for the removal and disposal of their own garbage
