In terms of man-month Number of person under coverage has gone down to 1.96 crore for the next fiscal year from 1.99 crore in the outgoing year- fall by 1.5%, whereas the fall was by 10.52 percent in FY2013.
Despite the growth in allocation to SSNPs, its coverage decreases both in terms of lac-man and man-month.

Allocation for food security program: Tk. 6998.08 crore , falls by 1.1%, 3.14% of total budget, 27.58% of total SSN budget, 0.68% of GDP. Percentage share of total budget and share of GDP of food security program is continuously falling in recent three years. Similarly, both social empowerment and social protection is decreasing over time as percentage share of GDP and total budget.
