SCREEN SHOTS:

1. This is my first screen shot of my video with my voice overs all put into place. As you can see I renamed all my pieces of soundtrack to make it easier for me to start up my project.

2. Here I began listening and timing when a sound effect should be placed. I have therefore shown that I am able to interpret when a sound effect is needed.

3. I then made sure all sound tracks were working and changed volume by using the mixer and by doing this I was then able to listen to all aspects of my recording. This was then finalised and used to create my final product.

PRODUCTION DIARY. DAY 1: I have received the brief from the client and interpreted what I think they have wanted from me. I asked about what audio transformations they wanted, such as fades. What backing track they believe would best suit their advert and what kind of look were they going for? DAY 2: Speaking over the phone with my Client I was able to summaries the brief as shown: The client wants a realistic sound track for a father and daughter having breakfast together. They want to include realistic sound effects such as pots and pans, sizzling bacon and cereal pouring. DAY 3 I started to record my sound effects for my clients. I worked in college for stepping noises but all other sound effects I worked at home in my kitchen. This was difficult as I needed to place my microphone near the sizzling pan. I then found it a lot easier than finding sound effects online. I also made sure that I kept the video up and running so I could time my sound effect accordingly. DAY 4 I made a Cubase folder and named it Weetos for my client. I then renamed tracks and started importing them. I then started to sync my sound effects. DAY 5 I did my voice over using a H2 zoom. I then synced it with Cubase again this gave me a feel of what the end product would be. I then showed my client for feedback. The client was happy with my progress and claimed that it was exactly the type of track they had envisioned. DAY 6: I completed my soundtrack using a piano as the client asked it to be basic and simple. I am happy with the end product yet I need to tweak a few pieces of work here and there to work along with my brief as I want the outcome to be positive. DAY 7 This is my final day of mixing and playing with my sound. I am overall very happy with my soundtrack. Yet I know think I should of saved some time to make the backing track a bit more

detailed for my client. I have then showed it to my client before exporting the project. They are overall very happy and agree that I worked well to my brief.
