Step 1

You must submit copies of transcripts from all institutions attended. Failure to supply all relevant documents may result in you being asked to leave the course by the University of South Florida. The INTO Admissions office will only process complete applications.
Application Checklist Please read carefully and make sure you have included the following documents in your application package:

Enclosed copy of bank statement/affidavit of support or letter of sponsorship 4. Enclosed copies of high school or university diploma and transcripts (Academic English and General English) 5. Enclosed copies of transcripts of all relevant qualifications translated into English as well as in native language (Pathways) 6. Enclosed copies of TOEFL/IELTS/Password (Pathways) 7. Enclosed proof of an adequate alternative insurance policy, if appropriate 8. Enclosed copies of visa, I-94, I-20 & current DSO information (Transfer students)

If the application is successful, you will receive: An offer letter indicating the course of study requested Verification of accommodation requested An acceptance form
Step 4
You should obtain your visa and pay the fee balance. Housing will not be guaranteed until full payment is received. How to pay: Payment can be made by wire transfer, VISA or Mastercard (a $35 transaction fee will apply to all credit card payments). INTO University of South Florida recommends that the payment of all fees should be made via wire transfer. The wire transfer should include the following information: Pay to: INTO USF Students ID number (as shown on their offer letter from University of South Florida) and the students name. Full fees must be paid 4 weeks prior to the start of all programs. Any funds in excess of the total amount of student fees, tuition and related costs due to the University will be refunded to the remitter and not to the student if different. To confirm your place at INTO University of South Florida you should: Sign and return the acceptance form Send tuition deposit (to be applied to balance of fees) -$2,000: Pathway program and Academic English programs -$500: General English programs to balance of fees) -$2,000: Pathway program and Academic -English programs -$500: General English programs Plan fee (as shown on your offer letter) OR evidence of an adequate alternative accident and medical insurance policy and medical compliance form, to the INTO USF Student Support Office. Alternative health plans must meet or exceed coverage outlined by the INTO USF Student Health Insurance Plan (www.intohigher.com/usf) and an approved waiver must be issued by University of South Florida Student Health Services. Unless an alternative is submitted and approved, the insurance fee will be required and included on the invoice. Send proof of immunization to INTO USF Student support Upon INTO USFs receipt of the signed acceptance form and paid deposit, you will receive a confirmation letter indicating your enrollment, I-20 if applicable, invoice for the remaining balance due and pre-departure guide. You will also receive confirmation of accommodation details. You should provide your flight details as outlined in the predeparture guide.

Declaration of Finances US immigration law requires the University to verify that any student seeking an F-1 Visa has sufficient funds to finance their studies for the duration of their program. If it is determined that you are admissible to INTO University of South Florida, we will provide you with an I-20 (F-1) certificate of eligibility document only after you submit satisfactory evidence that you have adequate funds for your proposed program of study. Acceptable financial documents must not have been issued more than six (6) months before the date you intend to enroll at INTO University of South Florida and must accompany this form. Additional Support Needed for Dependants: If you have a spouse or children that will accompany you to the United States, you must include an additional $5,000 per year for your spouse and $2,500 per year for each child. Please note that this estimate for dependents is the minimum amount you must show. If purchasing insurance in the US for dependents, actual costs for your dependents will likely increase.

Accommodations and Student Services Undergraduate Pathway students and Academic English students intending to progress to an Undergraduate Pathway are required to live in on-campus housing in their first year. Exemptions granted if 21 years of age or over. Graduate students and General English students are encouraged to request on-campus housing and will be placed according to availability.
