Adjusts fetal position Brings down excess from head

Headache (esp. occipital) Nasal discharge Nosebleed Eye pain Redness of inner canthus Nasal obstruction

MP for Yang Qiao which starts within the heel and ends its external pathway at GB20. Yang Qiao said to move the yang Qi collected and stored in the GV. Qiao means agility, the Yin and Yang Qiao govern nimble movement and the balance between medial and lateral musculature of lower limb. KD6 and BL62 can be used to balance tightness or laxity in the lower limb adductors and abductors, internal and external rotators, and the ankle inverters and everters. As master point of the Yang Qiao vessel, BL62 influences muscles on the lateral aspect of the lower limb, lower limb abduction, external rotation and ankle eversion. When excess these structures are stiff and contracted, when deficient they are flaccid. The Qiao vessels influence and can be influenced by posture, injury and surgery especially on the lower limb, choice of footwear and orthotics. Has a strong effect on the womb, to adjust breech fetal position use 5-7 small cone moxas twice a day starting after the eighth month and only before the fetus is engaged in the lower pelvis (other sources recommend indirect moxa once a day for 15-20 minutes). Some practitioners perform this technique with the woman on hands and knees, allowing the baby to move more easily. Do on a bed or other soft surface and place a small towel under the ankles to lift the toes.
