EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
MCB bank limited has a solid foundation of over 50 years in Pakistan, with a network of over 1000 branches, over 850 of which are automated branches, over 350 MCB Atms in 141 cities nationwide and a network of over 12 banks on the MNET Atm switch . MCBs operation continued to be stream lined with focus on rationalization of expenses, realignment of back end processing to increase productivity, enhancement of customer service standards, process efficiency and controls. The bank has taken the lead in introducing the innovative concept centralizing trade service in the country by providing centralized foreign trade service to branches with a view to improve efficiency, expertise and reduce delivery cost . This report is about the internship program at Muslim Commercial Bank Danda Shah Bilawal Branch Talagang. It discusses Departments in which I have completed my internship & have learned a lot of practices and procedures. The purpose of internship with MCB was to understand the overall environment of the big organization in Banking Sector. MCB is one of the largest banking institutions in Pakistan providing a variety of services and products and improving its efficiency and customer loyalty with every increase in profitability. This report is divided into several chapters, where chapter one company profile is discussed including the historical background is discussed. Every company has mission, vision and some core values; these are discussed in the next chapter. Chapter two consists of companys Products and Services discussed in details. In the next step overview of different departments is given. Chapter three comprises of the focused department. Chapter four consists of comparative analysis about MCB in which Swot and Pest Analysis is discussed in detail. Then my internship experience is given with full detail in chapter five and finally recommendations conclusion and references are given in the last chapter.
