KYT and HHT Both of these are Japanese terms.

A brief explanation of the two terms is given below : KYT : It stands for Kiken (Danger) Yochi (Advance Knowledge) Training. This means identifying the dangers in the work area in advance. For this, the personnel are trained in identifying the potential danger points, their risk priority is decided by a team and based on the severity level, corrective action is decided. HHT : It stands for Hiyari (Cold) Hatto (startling shock) Training. The derived meaning is that those incidences of Near Miss which give you a spine chilling shock. That means those avoidable incidences which could have resulted in severe loss of life and property. While there is a properly designed methodology to make out a KYT chart and the subsequent action plan for a shop, the HHT is explained by videos and photographs taken from the actual occurings. Both of the above are taught by a highly experienced and well renowned faculty.
