There are multitudes of people who believe in the message of the gospel, but it takes a special gift to passionately articulate God's truth in a way that truly impacts lives. Alicia Williamson Garcia has that gift. "The heart of our ministry is The Word of God. God has given us music to open the heart and His infallible Word to fill the heart and change a life. Blending articulate communication with heartfelt emotion, Alicia reaches her audiences with a clear knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is known for her ability to reach beyond cultural barriers, bridge generational gaps and bring unity to the body of Christ. Alicia is married to Richard Garcia of Queens, NY and they have two sons Michael and David.

Dear Sisters, Since we are Christs ambassadors, able to be used by God to do His Will, it is vital that we continually seek [chase after, track down, search, PURSUE] Christs righteousness in order for God to make His appeal through us to witness to others. I extend this personal invitation to you and ask that you unite with us for this exciting journey - In Pursuit of Christs Righteousness, Womens Retreat 2013. God has prepared this time and place just for us to get away and experience all that He has in store to bless our hearts and souls. Please dont miss out! Prayers and Love, First Lady Ellen P. Barney

Workshops

[A] Faith and Finances This workshop aims to teach Biblical principles for managing our finances, avoiding overspending and credit abuse, and provide biblical insight into fiscal responsibility and accountability. [B] Evangelism: It's Time to Tell In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus gave a personal directive to share the Gospel. Do you long to carry out this "Great Commission", but aren't sure how? Have you ever reflected on missed opportunities to witness to others and wanted a "do-over"? Learn effective ways to evangelize and witness to others on a real and personal level. [C] Sex, Romance and the Glory of God Revolutionize your romantic relationship with your husband and experience the deep emotional, sexual, and spiritual connection that God created to be enjoyed in marriage. [D] If Only She Knew Sometimes a woman looks at the man she married and wonders Who is this man? What motivates him? Why isnt he more responsive to my needs? Has he changed or did I just not understand him in the first place? This workshop will explain a mans deepest needs, show women how to meet those needs and give simple steps to strengthen any marriage. [E] The Sacred Romance God has wooed us with a life filled with unparalleled beauty, intriguing relationships and wonderful adventures. But we often reject his advances in order to seek after any number of lovers who are far more tame. Be encouraged to return to the intimacy, beauty and adventure of life with God. [F] Fit for the Kingdom Change the way you think and feel about your body. Learn spiritual and physical principals to begin living a healthy lifestyle. Whether your goal is weight loss, to live a more healthful life, or to get a fresh perspective on your appearance - this workshop will discuss ideas and detailed plans to help you reach your objective. [G] Understanding Men from a Mans Perspective Whether single or married, we all have had questions about what men really think about life, love, relationships, intimacy, and commitment. Improve your understanding and communication with men by acknowledging mutual differences in our needs, desires, thoughts and behaviors - from a mans perspective. [H] God and Girlfriends Many women are asking God for encouragement, maybe the answer to that prayer is a friend. Understand why women might be intimidated by friendship and the benefits of walking through life with a friend. [I] Confessions of a Frazzled Mom Each day you promise yourself you wont yell at the kids. But once the whining, the complaining, the stress of getting everyone ready and to school on time raises stress levels it sends you over the edge. Go from being a frazzled mom to an uncommon calm in the midst of chaos in a world full of pressure. [J] Hurry Up and Wait You pray; you ask; you anticipate Gods answer and He tells you to Wait. Waiting for God to come through on a prayer request can be hard. However, in the wait God teaches us many lessons. Find hope in the difficulty of waiting, and see how waiting NOW can be beneficial to our FUTURE. [K] Connecting with God in a Distracting World Do you struggle with how to experience the reality of a living God in the midst of your everyday life? Knowing and praying Gods Word is the key to a rich, authentic, and powerful relationship with Him. Learn to build a foundation of prayer by looking inward toward your heart, upward toward God, and outward toward others.
