They called them creatures.

"It's when you stare into the face of defeat, do you crave to become stronger. That moment when you breathe into the face of despair only wishing it was them staring into your eyes. Full of your envy. Wanting to become the very best, and wishing when they think about how they're going to transition to the best of them all, they'll have to go through you." I live in a world much different than yours. Sure, we're the same in many ways even genetic structure but I'm not saying I'm not Human, I'm breathing air the very same as you, but my world is far different than yours. We don't revolve ourselves around violence; well at least not with weapons. I live in a world filled with creatures not like the ones you're used to. Our world has many more mysteries than yours, for you see in my world there are creatures of great power. They coexist next to Mankind and as you guessed it they respect us as long as we bond with them. There are special cases but a majority of the time we get along great. Of course there are those who use them for not so smiled upon reasons but it's kept in check---most of the time. --------------------------------------------------------------"So, you call yourself a water specialist?" Standing at 6'00" exactly, with his pitch black hair and glowing blue eyes he scoffed at the woman across from him. Spinning a minimized pokeball on his left index finger, and keeping his right hand in pocket. His head was tilted at just the perfect angle to where his hat's bill created a shadow down over his eyes. Striking that cool guy pose that the famous Trainer Red made his signature stance. The curly blue haired woman replied: "I know I am! You're nothing but a fake Dragon Master anyway." Silence filled the area as his pokeball vanished from his fingertip. Before she knew it, the ball was mid-flight up in the air. Giving him time to extend his left arm out, just as the spherical capsule opened up. Like some kind of show act, just as he created a fist with that extended arm's hand a golden beast revealed itself. According to the National Dex it was called a Haxorus. Commonly standing at around 5'11" and weighing about 230 pounds. It was essentially a giant desert lizard that's jaw resembled a double bladed axe. With what looked like two blades extending at opposite sides of its mouth. It stood on its legs which were muscular all around; even in the thigh area. Its arms looked short but really weren't, armed with sharp red claws and a long scale plated body and tail. It was golden, but its stomach was coal black just like the very tip of its tail. At the edges of the blades around it's mouth was a red lining similar to it's the claws on it's feet and arms. Hunched over, it took a second for the beast to rise. When it did the pseudo monster that it was unleashed a harsh roar into the direction of the female standing ten feet away. Its eyes were red as blood with pupils black as night. Its eyes focused on her, not taking a second to distract itself from what was soon to be a battle. Our trainer called out, "Dau! This lady here thinks we're just one big joke. Mind showing her water sucking friends how we do business?~" The creature thrashed its tail around. It didn't know what his trainer was saying, but the tone in his voice called for a fight. "That's how it's gonna be?" The lady pulled out a sphere of her own, withdrawing it from her belt that had many other spheres connected to it. She threw one up just the same and out came another creature of destruction. It wasn't as scary looking as the Dragon, but it looked tough. Standing at 5'05" and weighing only 190 pounds, her choice of a combatant was made. Two cannons on it's back, and a scorned look on a round reptilian face. It was a Blastoise. A blue bruise making turtle with two cannons protruding out its shell's back. Standing on its legs, and aiming its two armaments at the Haxorus without even getting a command from his trainer. This was a wide creature at that, it did have a huge shell after all to protect itself. Blue skin and a pail jaw that matched the color of the front of its shell, which when turned around it's shell's back was a reddish brown. It had a little blue tail, but nothing as lethal as Dau's. The creatures roared, the trainers taunted. The heat was on, and the tension was rising. What was to come was all in the hands of skill, strategy, and raw power. This is what our trainer lived for, that

rush, that feeling and burst of energy running through his veins. "A Dragon Master they'll call me, and a Dragon Master I'll be."

Part Two:
"Long ago there lived and breathed beasts of great destruction. Many of them were only spoken of in legend. Some were feared, some were created by our own doing. Some of them are remnants of us. Most however, have always been watching. The titans of legend, the blacksmiths of our world. Gods, Titans, Men, Beasts. They are among us." ---------------------------------------------------------------A feminine voice called out with the tucking of weakness behind her very being. She was serious, and she was in that very moment commanding a beast of her own. A monster she raised from infancy when it was only a Squirtle. As she shouted out her words at the top of her lungs, a flash of memories raced through her mind. Our blue haired trainer recollected the first moment she picked up her tiny blue turtle from Professor Oak. When she first brought it up to herself, it's huge eyes in it's tiny tough cranium stared at her in awe. For that was the first time that it laid eyes on a female human being. She returned her new partner's curiosity with a wide smile. Then her memory would flash to a battle before her blue baby turtle turned into it's predecessor, Wartortle. She was just wrapping up a fierce battle with a Seaking and after a few gnaws with her Squirtle's jaws and lethal headbutt to the side of the horned fish, her little baby monster glowed into a flashing light and when it came back up from the underwater battle she saw her partner in a more powerful form. Betwixt her memories she started coming back into focus after she heard her Blastoise's cannon's fire off a brutal attack. Her voice grew faint from her command that she shouted out so harshly, and so full of heart. "Give it everything you got, Hydro Pump!!!" Her eyes widened when she saw her bulky creature have to adjust it's stance from the raw power that it had unleashed on the Dragon in front of it. Hitting the scaled golden reptile with an impressive amount of pressure, that would normally cut through steel with ease. When contact with the water was made with the Haxorus' scales it made a trembling clap. One that brought this golden titan to a position of actually bracing forward to compensate for the amount of force. Haxorus' scales could take the impact, but not for an increased amount of time. If our future Dragon master wanted to keep his beast from getting its' insides obliterated, he would have to act within less than a minute. Which of course, he did. "Dau! Evade the cannons! They're practically waterjets!" With that, the Dragon front flipped itself over the powerful stream and before the water could rise up and hit the beast once again, it smashed down it's armored tail on top of the giant tortoises' skull. Creating yet again another loud smack throughout the area. Our Dragon master pressed on while the water specialist winced. The Haxorus did this tail smashing while it flipped over the hydro pump. When the tail made contact, the Haxorus used the weight from it's tail actually hitting the cranium to allow the beast to dive down onto the shell of Blastoise. Where it's axe for a jaw had struck down while it flipped and broken through it with the combined momentum of the flip the dive, and the tail whip. It was a horrific sight to the water trainer, and a sight of victory for the Dragon trainer.

She saw her partner's water cannon's seize firing. She witnessed the blood red eyes of the Dragon staring through her, as the blood of her Pokemon gashed out from the seams around the jaw that impaled what was her Blastoise's greatest defense. The Haxorus pulled out it's bladed jaw and leaped back in front of his trainer, where it was sucked back into it's Pokeball. Tears ran down the blue haired trainer's eyes as she watched her beast fall to it's knees and then on it's face. The squirtle she once loved, was now walking with Yvetial, the Pokemon of Death. It's spirit was leaving and there was nothing she could do. Our Dragon Trainer spoke, "My name's Thrain. I'm sorry for your loss, but it was a battle and these creatures are capable of doing these things to each other. . . and more." He tipped his hat and walked off from a brutal victory.
