1 Create a WorkSheet
• Start entering data from A1 Cell
• Enter the Column Headings in each column of first row
• Save the worksheet as 'Food grains'
2. Calculate Productivity
• Keep the pointer in cell E2
• Type the formula as =(D2/C2)*1000
• COPY the cell E3

• BLOCK the CROP Column
• Select EDIT-REPLACE
• Food grain as REPLACE WITH
• Select REPLACE ALL
• Calculate Yield for Food grains
8. Rename the Sheet
• DOUBLE CLICK on Sheet1 and type Crop Data
9. Copy the Entire Data in Sheet2
• BLOCK the entire data
• Select EDIT-COPY
• Click on Sheet2
• Place the pointer in A1 cell
• Select EDIT-PASTE
10. Convert the formulae into values
• BLOCK the Columns which contains formulae
• Select COPY Icon on the STANDARD TOOL BAR
• Select EDIT-PASTE SPECIAL -VALUES
11. Sort the Data
• BLOCK the data from A2 cell to CellE23
• Select SORT Option from the DATA Menu
• Select Crop as SORT BY
• Select ASCENDING as ORDER
12. Filter the Data for Food grains
• BLOCK the entire data starting from cell A2
• Select FILTER option from the DATA Menu
• Select AUTO FILTER
• CLICK on the BUTTON in CROPS Column
• Select Food grains
13. Graphical Representation
• BLOCK the data of Year, Area, Production and Yield including column headings
• Select CHART Icon from the Standard Tool Bar
• Select LINE GRAPH and Select NEXT
• Select SERIES
• Select Year and Select REMOVE
