Deployment Planning and Execution: Work with functional and cross functional teams to prepare the final application specific cut over / deployment plan for each release. Work with deployment managers across all impacted applications and ensure that a pplication specific cut over plan does not conflict with the deployment activiti es for other applications. Work with functional and cross functional teams to conduct an application specif ic or integrated dry run before every application release. Incorporate lessons l earnt from the dry run exercise to refine the cut over plan before deployment. Finalize all logistical and deployment planning tasks that need to occur on the day of the release. Tasks include control room setup, communication plan during deployment, escalation path during deployment in the case of issues, co-ordinati on of go-no go call, co-ordination of roll back strategy as needed, etc. Communicate and provide regular status updates during deployment window and prov ide final communication to all stakeholders after all deployment activities are complete.
