How to add MPR management Static Route at OWD2229

Windsor South ring is backhauled by two FPOP at OWD2229 to 7750C, and OWD2234 to 7750D. MPRs management route is provisioned on 7750C only. Prior to 7750D deployment, MPR at OWD2229 had a static route configured to 7750C. This static route must be removed to utilize OSPF dynamic routing to support route redundancy to 7750C and 7750D. ALU will remotely remove this static route in MPR at OWD2229. This procedure is part of the contingency plan in case remote connectivity is lost to MPR at OWD2229, local login is required to restore the static route in a backout procedure. In case backout procedure is required, below steps are done in a locally login MPR session at OWD2229: 1. Select IP Static Routing Configuration

2. In the IP Static Routing Configuration window: a. Select Network b. In IP Address field, enter 0.0.0.0 c. In IP Mask field, enter 0.0.0.0 d. Click Gateway IP Address e. Enter Gateway IP Address: 10.21.53.250 f. Click Create.

To check for Static Route configuration: 1. Select Current Configuration View 2. Scroll down to STATIC ROUTES config portion.
