A note from the WEBMASTER:

There are many lines of communication that enable

people to interact and stay plugged-in. One of the
most popular social networking sites on the web
today is facebook. It is a website that has over 200
million active users worldwide. The bottom line of
facebook is, “I want to stay connected with you.”

Being connected is vital in our hi-tech world.

Juggling our schedule with family, work, God, and
“me-time” is a real challenge for everyone. You might
not have used facebook but here is “firstbook.”

“Firstbook” has been created to keep you informed, inspire participation in

your church and help you to continue to develop your spiritual life throughout
the summer. As you surf through this brochure, you will notice that it is designed
to help you define areas of interest quickly with dates, times, and places.

Staying connected is not an option it is a necessity, “we are a family!”

In Christ,

Dr. Morgan Browning

Minister of Education

P.S. A special thanks to Dee Dee Alonzo, our office help and YOU for helping
me to put this brochure together.

Esther:
It’s Tough Being a
Woman by Beth Moore

Target Group: Women of all ages

Dates: Ten-week course
Wednesday nights - (June 10, 17, 24,
July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12)

Join Beth in an in-depth and very personal examination of
this great story of threat and deliverance. She peels back the
layers of history and shows how very contemporary and appli-
cable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you’ve ever felt
inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed
overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough
being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion
of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, har-
ried and pressured lives.
