There is a wide variety of data presented at these sites, much of it in easily usable form. Some of the data available through these websites is not of an appropriate form or type for statistics project 1. If the data you find is not appropriate for this project, keep on looking with a little searching you will find something both appropriate and interesting. The first 8 sites are sites that I recently visited to find examples of bivariate data appropriate for statistics project 1. The remaining 11 sites are sites that have been recommended or used by other teachers or students to find data for various statistics projects. You will need to select a sample of countries to get the sample size you need, using an appropriate sampling method. By selecting first one "field" and then a second "field" and using the same sample of countries for both fields, you can relate many interesting characteristics of nations worldwide. For future reference, note that you can choose years on this page. Then choose "Vehicle Pricing" to get the price for your chosen year. To get the data, choose "Dow Data," then choose "Charts," and then choose a decade. The information is presented in graphical form with key historical events indicated on the graph.
