Human Resources

Dear Sir/Madame,

I am a master at using the computer productively including creating and maintaining spreadsheets,
documents, and effective use of e-mail. I’ve been programming computers since the early 1980’s and
have used a combination of dedication and trial and error to teach myself the ins and outs of
programming. Now that I have formal education in the computer science field I feel that my self-
learnt methods combined with my schooling make for an unbeatable combination.

In addition to my outstanding computer skills, I have much experience managing groups of people.
This experience has naturally included helping others improve both their specific skills and their
overall attitude and outlook on the work environment.

After recently graduating from Lakehead University I’m very excited about the prospect of
establishing my career and I look forward to speaking with you in greater detail about how my
specific talents would relate well to the available position. I can be reached during the day or in the
evening at (807)621-3659.

Sincerely,

Kevin Smeltzer
