The Vessel's Hull is fitted with a movable drilling substructure at the stern slot and a helicopter landing deck at the bow. Three tubular steel Columns rigidly connected to a ballasted steel Mat support the Vessel's Hull in the elevated mode, and are activated by means ofa rack and pinion gearing system, HULL The Vessel's Hull is a rectangular-shaped structure, 191'-0" long x 132'-0" wide x 14-0" deep, with 50-0" wide by 45'-0" long slot at the stern, and a 60-0" by 60-0" helicopter landing deck cantilevered off the forward end. On the forward end at the centerline and at each side aft, a structural void is built into the Hull to receive a Column, Mounted on longitudinal tracks on the Main Deck in way of the aft slot is a longitudinally movable skid unit carriage (the Substructure) upon which is mounted a transversely movable skid unit (the Drill Floor) supporting the drilling derrick and associated drilling equipment. The remainder of the Main Deck is devoted to the solids control systems (degasser, desander and mud cleaners), pipe racks, cement pump and cement P-Tanks, and the Quarters House. The lower or Machinery Deck contains the mud pits, mud pumps, sack storage, A.C. and D.C. generators, a Mechanical Room (air compressors, fuel centrifuges, etc.), an Auxiliary Machinery Room (sewage treatment unit, pressure sets, ctc.), and mechanics’ and electricians’ workshops. The jacking Control Room, Treatment Room, cement P-Tanks, paint locker, welder’s shop and well logging unit are set on the Quarters House top; the emergency generator is located on the 01 Level, port side. Fully air conditioned quarters are arranged over two levels, and feature a TV room, galley with freezer and reffigerator spaces, laundry and locker rooms, a mess hall and toolpusher and company offices. Inner bottom tanks are used for storing drill water, fuel oil, salt water ballast, and potable water. MAT AND COLUMNS The Mat is an all steel, "A"-shaped structure, 195'-0" long, 164'-0" wide, and 12'-0" deep (this, dimension includes a 2-0" deep scour skirt), with a 56'-0" long by 92'-0" wide aft slot. At the forward end of the Mat, an open space 67-0" long by 92'-0" long has been cut out on the centerline. The Mat is composed of permanently flooded and permanently buoyant compartments. Rev7 24 oe ‘Three (3) Columns 101-0" in diameter and 255'-0" long are rigidly fixed to the top of the Mat, and transfer the Hull weight to the seabed during elevated operations. Spaced at 180° on each Column are 5" wide 3/16 pitch racks which engage the 3/16 pitch pinions on the elevating gear units. The Columns are constructed of 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" wall structural steel. JACKING SYSTEMS, 2.4.1 242 umn Jacks ‘A rack and pinion elevating unit is located at each of the three Column tubes on the Hull which engages the Columns in order to raise and lower the Hull or Mat/Columns. ‘Aluminum wedges are provided at the Hull bottom and the upper guide of the gear unit to ensure horizontal fixity of the Hull to Column connection during elevated operations. Each leg is attached to the Hull by two (2) high elevating gear units, Each unit contains two (2) 3/16 pitch drive pinions and gears powered by two (2) Series 80 Hagglund hydraulic motors with variable speed capability. The 3/16 pitch drive pinions engage racks spaced 180° apart on the Column tubes. Total ratio of gearing is 26.94:1, See the BMC Jacking System manual for further details of the Column jacks. Skid Jacks The Vessel is provided with jacking systems to (1) move the lower skid unit or Substructure longitudinally and (2) skid the upper skid unit or Drill Floor transversely. Located near the forward end of the lower skid unit carriage at each side is a hydraulic jack for moving the carriage along its tracks, and to position it longitudinally on the Hull and over the well. Located on the upper skid unit are hydraulic jacks for positioning the Drill Floor transversely along its tracks, 7-6" to port or starboard of the Hull CL. Each jack consists of a ratcheted movable unit operated by a horizontally-mounted hydraulic cylinder. Each unit contains a ratchet device for engaging the slotted holes in the track to enable jacking in either direction. Control of both the longitudinal and transverse jacks is from a local station on the Substructure's port side. See Appendix C for further details of the skid jacks. The Drill Floor/Substructure are aft over the slot for all normal operating conditions, but are stowed forward for storm conditions. 3. The minimum air and water temperature for all of the Vessel's operating conditions, elevated or afloat, is 32 F (0° C). 2.6.3 Transit Conditions The regulatory authorities contemplate two types of transit conditions, the ocean tow and the field move. A field move is one that would require no more than a 12-hour voyage (1) to a location where the Vessel could be jacked up or (2) toa protected location. An ocean tow is defined as any voyage which is not a field move. The Vessel's load line draft of 9"-0" (from Hull BL as indicated by Hull draft and load line marks) must never be exceeded under any circumstances in any transit condition. BMC Hull No. 04 2-6 Rev7 Field Move Maximum Draft: Intact Stability: Damage Stability: Dynamic Criteria: Columns/Mat/Skid Units: Operational instructions: Ocean Tow Maximum Dratt: Intact Stability: Damage Stability: Dynamic Limits: Columns/Mat/Skid Units: Operational Instructions: BMC Hull No. 04 2-7 Do not exceed load line draft. Meets regulatory compliance criteria for one compartment damage with 50 knot wind. Roll and pitch single amplitude should not exceed 6° with a 12 second period. Columns/Mat are to be fully raised with 1'- 6" gap between Hull; Substructure/Drill Floor are to be locked in their stowed positions. See Section 3.6.3. Rev7 3 OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 3.1 GENERAL 3.11 General Establish and maintain a daily Log for operation of the Vessel while afloat and on location. Conditions should be logged every 24 hours. ‘Maintain the Vessel in a level condition during all operations, including under tow and during jacking and drilling operations. When elevating or lowering, each Column should be equally loaded. Secure all hatches, doors, manholes, retum lines, discharges, and all openings between subdivision boundaries during all moving and jacking operations. Any “closing device" which is required by the existing operation to be closed shall be attended when open, and the opening and its attendance shall be logged. See Dwg No. 180-153, titled "Watertight Integrity” and Dwg No. 180-154, titled "Watertight Hull Openings" for watertight closing device locations.(Reference 3.c.1 for any exceptions) Periodically inspect all safety, aids-to navigation, lifesaving devices, communications equipment, and lighting. Check the weather forecast and record in the Log. Use more than one weather source when available. Move only when good weather is forecast for the duration of the move. Check the wind direction, current direction, heel and trim calculations (see Section 4), depth recorder readings and weather forecasts before lowering the Hull and raising the Mat from the ocean floor in order to prevent damage to Columns. Ascertain that adequate tugs and towing equipment are available for relocation. Ensure adequate light and visibility conditions exist before moving. When elevated, keep a minimum of 100 bbls of drill water or salt water on board for use with the fire fighting system. Tank vents must be checked; ensure they open and operate properly before attempting to fill, transfer, or empty fluids from any tank. The "Barge Mover" is the person employed by the owner of the Vessel to be in complete charge of the Vessel during preparation for a move, during the BMC Hull No. 04 3-1 Rev7 313 ‘move, and during jacking and preloading operations. Only trained personnel should be assigned to important duties during move operations. Equipment Inspect all electrical circuits for faulty insulation, breaks, and grounds. Inspect all hydraulic lines and connections for leaks. Be sure that the hydraulic lines are undamaged. Inspect all hydraulic leg motors and brakes. Inspect wiring, hoses, motors, pumps, and gauges for obvious defects. Follow check lists for start up of hydraulic jacking system, Inspect the operator's console, the main switchboard, and accessory equipment for corrosion, loose wiring, damage, and other contingencies that could cause a malfunction. Test all electrical and mechanical components to ensure they are in good condition, Inspect the Substructure and Drill Floor skidding devices periodically during all Vessel operations to ensure that no movement has occurred. Prior to any change in mode of operation, tie down drill pipe, collars, casing, and all movable items on the deck. Check for loose items both on the deck and within the Hull. Secure cranes and booms prior to any change of mode of operation. In preparation for moving, tie down travelling block, swivel, and other movable items on the Drill Floor. Systems Before changing modes of operation, all below the waterline discharges should be secured in the closed position. All above the waterline discharges not in use should be closed. All service and Hull tanks, when practical, should be either empty or pressed full during raising, lowering, and floating operations. Although a free surface correction for slack tanks is applied to stability calculations (see Section 4.1.2), it is desirable to avoid as much tank free surface as possible. Inspect the bilge system and all liquid service systems to ensure proper operating conditions. Periodically inspect for "frozen valves and faulty safety equipment. BMC Hull No. 04 3-2 Rev7 3.14 Fire and Lifesaving Plan Particulars of the Vessel’s fire fighting equipment and lifesaving appliances are detailed on Dwg No. 180-202 (2 sheets), titled "Fire and Lifesaving Plan" (the "Plan"), found in Section $ and as conspicuously posted on the Vessel. Additionally, please note the following: 1. The maximum personnel capacity of the lifesaving appliances shown on the Plan is noted in Section 1.5 2. The Vessel is not fitted with flooding alarms. 3. The Vessel is not fitted with fire detectors; however smoke alarms are fitted throughout the Quarters House. 4, The Vessel is fitted with atmospheric gas detectors in three locations: Drill Floor, Shale Shaker House, and Mud Pit Area. 5. Emergency Shutdown (ESD) locations are noted on the Plan; see Section 3.7.4 for guidance for restarting machinery following activation of ESDs. 3.1.5 Fuel Oil Transfer ‘The Rig Engineer and on duty Motorman are responsible for operating fuel oil equipment during all fuel transfers. Refer to Dwg No. 180-301, titled "Schematic of Fuel Oil System”, for system particulars and arrangement. When taking fuel oil from a supply boat, the procedure noted below is to be followed: 1. Sound the tank into which the fuel is to be transferred to ensure the tank will hold the quantity of fuel being transferred. 2. Ensure that the fuel tank vent is open and that no hot work is be performed in the vent area, 3. Establish radio contact with the supply vessel pumping the fuel, and maintain radio contact during the entire transfer operation. 4. Check alll hose connections to ensure they are tight and that all dogs are locked down. 5. Instruct the crane to lower the fuel oil transfer hose down to the supply vessel's deck. BMC Hull No. 04 3-3 Rev7 10, ML. Open valve to tank to be filled and the valve at the Main Deck fill station. Radio supply vessel to start pumping, and maintain a watch with radio contact with the supply vessel during the entire fueling operation, After the supply vessel has started pumping, verify that the fuel is going into the correct tank by sounding the fuel oil tank. After the fueling operation is complete, instruct the crane driver to raise the transfer hose, allowing any excess fuel to drain into the fuel oil tank, before storing the hose back in its rack. Secure the system by closing all valves. ‘Take final fuel oil tank sounding to verify quantity transferred, Note fuel oil transfer information in the Vessel's log book. When transferring fuel on board the Vessel, the procedure noted below is to be followed: 1 BMC Hull No. 04 Test the fuel oil transfer pump's relief valve weekly by starting the pump with the discharge valve closed. Pressure should not exceed 60 psi. Line-up the fuel oil transfer pump on the fuel oil tank that the fuel is to drawn from. ‘The Engineer/Motorman should line up the pump discharge to pump fuel only to the station that is being fueled. ‘The Engineer/Motorman is to establish communications with the person at the station being fueled before starting the pump, and should maintain ‘communications with them while transferring fuel. Start pump and verify flow with meter and the person at the station being fueled. Note fuel oil transfer information in the Vessel's log book. 3-4 Rev7 32 RIG SKIDDING SYSTEM 3.21 3.22 General For a description of the rig skidding system, see Section 2.4.2; additional reference ‘material is provided in Appendix C. Locking pins (1 1/4" round bar) are to be removed before attempting skidding operations, and they are to be installed upon completion of skidding operations. Before any skidding begins, grease "zerk" fittings on the Drill Floor skid unit footings and grease the transverse skid rail beam surfaces in the direction of travel for the required distance. Both transverse skid rails should be lubricated with the same type of grease as is used on the elevating racks. Operational Instructions The following steps are to be undertaken before beginning Substructure skidding operations: 1. Remove the locking pin which is located midway along the side of the skid claw unit. See item 10 of the figure, found in Appendix C, 2. Repeat this procedure for all four (4) skid claw unit assemblies. 3. Check each unit to see that the counter-weight moves freely and that there are no obstructions to the unit or skid rails. 4. Before activating the remote start button, inspect the oil level sight gauge located on the right side of the skid console reservoir to ensure that the proper amount of Texaco and Rando-46 is in the system. 5. Inspect hoses for damage or wear and replace as necessary. 6. Lift up the port Drill Floor stairway and V-Door ramp and secure in place. The following operations must be undertaken after completion of substructure skidding operations. 1. Re-insert lock pins in all four (4) skid claw units. 2. Move the dragway to its proper place before drilling operations begin. BMC Hull No. 04 3-5 Rev7 3. Lower V-Door ramp back into place on the dragway. 3.3 ELEVATING THE UNIT 33.1 3.3.2 General Precautions The elevating process should not be attempted with a combination of ocean swell greater than five (5) feet trough to crest and a hard ocean floor. Maximum roll and pitch angles and period limitations must also be adhered to. Never leave the elevating console unattended while tured on; limit access to the Control Room, Always remain in radio or telephone contact with the Column observers and the personnel in the pump houses. Before elevating, it is important that the pressures shown on the "A" and "B" headers are about the same as the charge pressure. If the header pressure gauges are not within 25 psig of the charge pump pressure, one or more pumps is on partial stroke. This could be caused by a piece of dirt. Determine which pump is on partial stroke by shutting off each pump until pressure starts to drop. Errant pumps can be centered by momentarily stroking the pump by hand and releasing the handle. Pull lever arm back toward motor to relax pressure in "B" header. Push lever arm toward reservoir to relax pressure in "A" header. This procedure should solve the problem; if it does not, pump servos will require mechanical recentering. ‘When raising the Mat, an audible alarm (5,600 cps) will sound when the Mat is 18" from the bottom of the Hull. Use extreme care when raising the Mat close to the Hull. Prior to undertaking jacking operations, ensure the maximum variable load for Jacking as indicated in Section 2.5.5 is not exceeded. Ensure that all watertight doors, openings, and hatches are secured closed, and that all movable objects are secured. Operational Instructions To elevate the Vessel, follow the general operational instructions noted below: 1. Start the hydraulic pump unit. Refer to the BMC Jacking System manual for procedure. The pump house door should remain open during operation of the pumps to ensure proper cooling. BMC Hull No. 04 3-6 Rev7 2. Bring the Vessel to the desired heading and location. Maintain position with tugs or attending service vessels so as to restrain rotation or translation. 3. Jack down legs without stopping until the Hull is clear of the wave action while maintaining the Hull level within 0.5 degrees. 4, Elevate the Hull to the height required by the design criteria air gap (see Sections 2.6.1 and 2.6.2). Secure elevating console and remove key. In extreme water depths, care should be taken not to jack the top of the Cotumn(s) through the upper guides. 5. Begin normal drilling operations, maintaining the proper weight distribution on each Column, Operational instructions for operating the jacking system may be found in the BMC Jacking System manual located on the Vessel. 3.4 DRILLING OPERATIONS 3.41 3.4.2 General During drilling operations, maintain equal water levels in all four (4) drill water tanks (Tank Nos. B-2, B-3, E-3 and E-4) as closely as possible. Do not exceed total variable load as shown in Section 2.5.5 for Normal Operating Conditions. See Section 2.5.5 for a definition of variable load. ‘The maximum combined hook, setback and rotary loads must be kept within the limits as shown on Dwg No. 180-107. Preparations for Storms Elevate the Hull to the air gap noted in Section 2.6.2 during the Gulf of Mexico hurricane season, or for weather conditions comparable to the Gulf of Mexico hurricane season. Remove all loose weights from the Drill Floor. Eliminate hook, rotary and setback loads, and tie down the travelling block. All movable loads must be lashed down. BMC Hull No. 04 3-7 Rev7 Do not exceed total variable load as shown in Section 2.5.5 for Severe Storm Conditions. Transfer liquid variable load (e.g., drill water) or reposition the Substructure and Drill Floor to ensure that the Vessel's LCG is within one (1) foot of 85.0 ft aft of Fr. 0 and the TCG is within one (1) foot of the centerline. These precautions will ensure that the pinions will not exceed design limits during the ‘storm. Confirm that all aluminum guide wedges are in place around column tops, top and bottom. All watertight doors, vent/fan openings, hatches, mud retums and discharges must be closed and secured. Inspect the lifesaving equipment, safety equipment, communications equipment, lights and fog hom. Ensure all such equipment is available for continuous operation. Allow twelve (12) hours for preparation for storm conditions. If evacuation of the ‘Vessel is considered, see Section 3.8.1 for time estimates for additional tasks. 3.5 LOWERING THE UNIT 3.5.1 Preparations ‘The variable load on board the Vessel must not exceed that allowed for jacking operations; see Section 2.5.5, Distribution of variable load must achieve equal loading of all three Columns. To ensure that these conditions are met, a loading calculation must be performed prior to commencing jacking operations. Furthermore, a second loading calculation will be necessary to determine the amount of drill water to shift in order to minimize heel and trim when the mat is free from the bottom and the Vessel is in a floating condition. ‘Tanks should be pressed or empty to minimize free surface. See Section 4 for instructions regarding these calculations. 1, Donot attempt to lower the Hull into the sea if wave heights are greater than five (5) ft from trough to crest, 2. Limit personnel access to the Control Room. Operators and observers must remain in constant radio and telephone contact. 3. Inspect all leg motors, brakes and hoses for damage. Lubricate gearbox pinions. BMC Hull No. 04 3-8 Rev7 a 8. The Substructure and Drill Floor are to be skidded into their stowed positions and secured. Al loose equipment must be tied down. Close and secure all watertight doors, vent/fan openings, hatches, mud retums and discharges (see Appendix B). Start motor generator sets to ensure proper operation, Test the operation of applicable warning devices. Remove aluminum wedges from the upper and lower guides. 3.5.2 Personnel The following personnel assignments for lowering operations are suggested: i Assign six (6) men for greasing operations on the elevating units; two (2) men per leg. Grease upper and lower guides, gears, and leg racks. ‘Assign three (3) men, one (1) man per leg, to internally grease final drive pinion gear shafts at each of the three elevating units. This operation should be performed every 15 minutes when elevating or lowering the Hull. Use a hand gun with T-S. Moly lubricant #102-2P25 grease or equal. Grease fittings are located on the final drive pinion cover plates. Assign four (4) men as observers, one inside each pump house and one at each Column. Assign one (1) man to the machinery spaces to monitor equipment, transfer water as required, and ensure no leaks or unintentional flooding occurs. No component of the elevating system shall be activated without the authorization of the Person in Charge. 3.5.3 Operational Instructions Operational instructions for lowering the Hull are as follows: 1 BMC Hull No. 04 Start the hydraulic pumps. The pump house door should remain open during operation of pumps to ensure proper cooling. Lower the Hull into the sea to a draft (measured from the Hull BL) of about four (4) feet. 3-9 Rev7 3. Carry out a watertight integrity check below decks to ascertain that all through-Hull discharges are closed and that there is no leakage in any compartment. 4, All being secure, alter the Vessel's loading as previously calculated in Section 3.5.1 above to ensure that the Vessel has a minimum of trim and heel (ideally, none). 5. Jack the Hull down until the Vessel draft exceeds the calculated draft by about one (1) foot. With this amount of excess buoyancy, the mat should free itself from the ocean floor. 6. Once the Mat has broken free of the ocean bottom, continue jacking the Columns up until the Mat is I'-6" from the bottom of the Hull. Perform this operation without delay to minimize the effects of current on the Vessel. 3.6 OPERATIONS AFLOAT 3.6.1 General Loading calculations (see Section 4) are to be performed for the Vessel when afloat whenever changing modes of operation (e.g. from field move to severe storm afloat or to the elevated mode) or whenever significant changes to Vessel loading occur (eg., resupply of bulk material and tubulars), either afloat or elevated. All watertight doors, vent/fan openings, hatches (see Appendix B), manholes, and mud returns and discharges--in short all operational openings between watertight compartments~must be secured during operations afloat, with the following exception. Vent/Fan hoods must remain open at A/C Gen. Room supply fan (V15), exhaust fan (V2) and mechanical room intake fan (V3) whenever equipment is operating. Any opening which must be opened should be attended, the opening and attendance logged, and the opening closed as soon as possible thereafter. Observe that Vessel navigation lights are for use only during afloat conditions; they are never to be operated when the Vessel is in an elevated mode. For all transit conditions, the Columns and Mat must be in their fully raised position (Le., Hull to Mat separation of 1'-6"). The Vessel's hydrostatic data (see Section 2.5.6 and Dwg No. 180-150) has been developed for this particular configuration; assurance that the Vessel's stability has been properly assessed would suffer if other Hull to Mat separations were used. BMC Hull No. 04 3-10 Rev7 3.6.2 3.6.3 3.6.4 The Vessel must remain seaworthy at all times, Should Vessel roll and pitch motions exceed the values noted in Section 2.6.3, correct the situation by either altering tow speed or changing course or both. The final recourse is to seek sheltered water and elevate the Vessel. ‘The Barge Mover is the person fully responsible for all phases of Vessel movement operations. The Barge Mover shall be capable of performing the following duties: 1 Calculate the Vessel's afloat characteristics, i.e., draft, displacement, centers of gravity, etc. 2. Order the repositioning of variable loads to bring the Vessel characteristics within allowable limits. 3. Be fully aware of Vessel stability characteristics in both intact and damage modes, 4, Maintain the Vessel in a survival condition, as circumstances require. 5. Establish.and maintain radio communication with tug boats to ensure proper ‘Vessel positioning. Field Move A field move is one that would require no more than a 12 hour voyage (1) to a location where the Vessel could be jacked up or (2) to a protected location. See Section 2.6.3 for Field Move design criteria. Use the Normal Operating (70 knot Wind) Maximum Allowable KG Curve for all field moves (see Dwg No. 180-151) Ocean Tow ‘An ocean tow is defined as any voyage which is not a field move. See Section 2.6.3 for ocean tow design criteria. Use the Severe Storm (100 knot wind) Maximum Allowable KG Curve for all ocean tows (see Dwg No. 160-151). Unintentional Flooding While afloat, should damage to the Hull or any other contingencies cause flooding of any compartment, the following steps should be taken immediately: 1, Ensure that the flooded compartment is isolated by dogging down all watertight doors, closing all valves, ducts, or ventilators on systems leading to or through that compartment. BMC Hull No. 04 3-1 Rev7 Do not take counter balancing measures until the extent and cause of damage has been fully determined. Transfer variable loads as necessary to correct heel and trim. Reduce the Vessel's VCG as much as possible. Ensure that the Vessel's VCG, corrected for free surface, does not exceed the Maximum Allowable KG for its draft and mode of operation. ‘Make for the nearest anchorage or place suitable for elevating the Vessel, to inspect the damage and investigate possible repairs. While under tow during constant conditions (i., steady speed, direction, and winds), any significant change in roll period (the time it takes the Vessel to roll through one complete cycle) should be investigated and corrective action taken: such changes may be indicative of compartment flooding. Unexpected trim and heel might be caused by the following reasons: 1. 4. 5, ‘The Hull tanks are partially full of liquids, and when the liquids stosh to one side they amplify the Vesse!’s roll and pitch. Damage to Mat or Hull tanks, causing a change of LCG, TCG, or tank fluid free surface. Piping system or valve malfunction causing liquids to be transferred to the wrong tank(s) Presence of foreign material on top of the Mat. Errors in loading calculations. 3.6.5 Preparations for Storms The following Vessel preparations are recommended for storms with winds greater than 70 knots. Assuming all routine tasks required to ensure safe operations afloat have been performed, the approximate length of time required for meeting severe storm conditions is three (3) hours: 1 BMC Hull No. 04 ‘Ascertain that the Vessel is in a seaworthy conditions and that all watertight Hull openings, doors, vent/fan openings, hatches, and mud returns and discharges are closed except the sea chests’ block valve. 3-12 Rev7 Secure all loose gear and movable objects; ensure that all items above and below decks are tied down or stowed away. Lash down the travelling block and hook, drill pipe, collars, tools and equipment. Check that the Substructure and Drill Floor are stowed and securely locked in place. Adjust excess heel or trim by shifting drill water as necessary. Ensure that the Vessels VCG, corrected for free surface, does not exceed the Maximum Allowable KG on the Severe Storm (100 knot) curve at the Vessels given draft. Reduce VCG of the variable load as necessary to ensure compliance. Inspect the lifesaving equipment, safety equipment, communications equipment, aids to navigation, lights and fog horn Ensure all equipment is available for continuous operation. If a storm is forecast which exceeds the operating conditions for which the Vessel is designed (see Section 2.6), the Vessel must be moved to a sheltered area, When on a field tow, if winds in excess of 70 knots are anticipated, secure all vents with the exception of Quarters Vent No. 12, located on the starboard side. To minimize the possibilty of accidents, it is recommended that all unnecessary personnel be evacuated from the Vessel during the passage of the severe storm. 3.6.6 Anchoring Procedure The Vessel is not self-propelled. A minimum of three (3) tugs are normally required for transits and assistance with positioning the Vessel. At present the Vessel is not fitted with an anchor or anchor winch; the following instructions apply in the event such equipment is refitted. During emergencies, the anchor can be cast as an aid to positioning the Vessel. The Vessel should be brought into the desired heading and location. The scope of the anchor cable should not be less than six (6) times the water depth. Connect towing and/or service boats to the Vessel and deploy to supplement the anchor cable in restricting Vessel rotation and translation. BMC Hull No. 04 3-13 Rev7 3.6.7 3.6.8 Mat Deballasting ‘The Mat cannot be ballasted or deballasted while on location or in any elevated mode. Ifit is desired to decrease the minimum floating draft, the Columns and Mat must be jacked up to their fully raised position (i.c., Hull to Mat separation of 1'-6") while the Vessel is afloat, Prior to undertaking any Mat deballasting or ballasting operations, the Vessel must be placed in its lightship condition (i.e. all variable loads removed). 1. Connect air lines to all seven permanently flooded tanks at the three (3) Columns. 2. Proceed to deballast Mat tank nos. 1-P, 1-8, 3-P, 3-8, 4-CL, 6-P and 6-8, maintaining an even keel. Do not exceed 16 psig air pressure. 3. When the Mat Deck is within two (2) feet of the water surface, stop deballasting tank nos. 1-P, 1-S, 3-P and 3-S, and continue deballasting tank nos. 4-CL, 6-P and 6-S. 4, When the aft end of the Mat is about even with the water surface, continue deballasting tank nos. 4-CL, 6-P and 6-S, and start deballasting tank nos. 1- P, 1-8, 3-P and 3-S again. Maintain the forward trim until the mat is above water. 5. Continue deballasting tank nos. 1-P, 1-S, 3-P, 3-8, 4-CL, 6-P and 6-8 until they are empty and the Vessel is essentially on an even keel 6. The procedure for flooding Mat tanks nos. 1-P, 1-S, 3-P, 3-S, 4-CL, 6-P and 6-S is essentially the reverse of the above. Prior to Mat ballasting, check the normally buoyant tank nos. 2-P, 2-S, 4-P, 4-S, 5-P and 5-S to ensure they are free of water by opening manholes and visually examining, Bilge System The Vessel's bilge system is shown on Dwg No. 180-300, titled "Schematic of Bilge System’, found in Section 5. It will be observed that the bilge system services the interior Hull compartments at the Machinery Deck level; voids and other hull tankage are not serviced by the bilge system. The two bilge pumps are self-priming 3" Gorman-Rupp Model No. T-3A60B pumps, each driven by 15 hp, 1,800 rpm electric motors. Note that the port and starboard manifolds can be cross connected, and that a salt water eductor system can also be employed as a back-up measure. Bilge system manifold valves are all of the stop-check type. BMC Hull No. 04 3-14 Rev7 The bilge system is operated by manually opening and closing the valves, as shown on the schematic, and manually starting the pump motors, An alternate means of stripping Vessel bilges is through use of air diaphragm pumps in lieu of the electrically-driven pump system. The following procedure is to be used for pumping a compartment's bilge: 1. Open valve on bilge to be pumped. 2. Open suction and discharge valve on pump to be used. 3. Check bilge to be pumped for any oil or contaminates before starting to pump. 4, Ifthe bilge is free of contaminates, start pump and monitor pump discharge. 5. When bilge is empty, stop pump and secure all valves. 3.7. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES 3.7.1 Procedure for Abandonment of the Unit The following procedure shall be used for emergency abandonment of the Vessel: 1. Should fire or emergency situation deteriorate to point where suppression is not possible, close off all compartments and passageways after all personnel are evacuated from same. Close ventilation trunks if possible. 2. Shut down power system. 3. Sound abandon alarm as noted on station bill. 4, Notify standby vessels and shore base of impending evacuation, 5, Report to assigned lifeboat or liferaft. 6. Verify that all personnel are present and accounted for and wearing personal floatation devices. 7. Launch lifeboats or liferafts into water and release from falls. Manually pull liferaft to vicinity of forward end of Hull and board. BMC Hull No. 04 3-15 Rev7 372 BMC Hull No. 04 8. Maintain contact with standby vessels by means of portable radio(3). 9. Notify shore base of situation through radio contact. 10, Maintain good discipline on board lifeboats and liferafts and await pickup. 11. When wind and sea conditions allow, transfér personnel from lifeboats and liferafts to standby vessel(s) or rescue boat Procedure for Evacuation of Personne! Duration of evacuation activities is estimated in the following table. Estimated Personnel Operation Time Required Required Lay down drill pipe 6-14 Hours 4 Seciire BOP 4 Hours 3 Skid Substructure forward and secure Drill Floor 8 Hours 6 Secure Hull openings, hatches, doors, ete. 3 Hours 10 ‘Once evacuation orders have been received, personnel will depart in the following order asa function of mode of evacuation: 1. Helicopter: Alas space is available followed by toolpushers and tig engineers. 2. Crew/Workboat: Al followed by toolpushers, crane operators and rig engineers, 3. Lifeboat: In accordance with posted Fire, Safety & Escape Route Plan During the severe storm or hurricane season, the following safety precautions should be exercised: 1. Maintain a minimum of five (5) days mud supply on board. ‘Maintain a near capacity supply of drilling water on board. Secure all loose equipment that is not used or moved in normal operations. Prepare tie-down cables, chains, tumbuckles, ete. for tying down all equipment in the event of a storm shutdown, Lay down all excess drill pipe and drill collars standing in derrick. Atall times have the following equipment on the Vessel: - Halliburton RTTS full bore storm packers, complete with Sub- Surface Control (SSC Il) Valve. RTTS is to be of proper size to fit inside the last casing string, as required. ~ Baker Model "G" Full Flow Float Sub with a ported drill pipe flapper valve, ~ Gray inside BOP (to be kept for backup). Make sure above equipment is always in good working condition and subbed for running in the drill string, as required. a 8 10. dL. 12, Familiarize all personne! with storm securing procedures. Make frequent checks of aids to navigation equipment. Report any defect immediately for repair. Report the "Time Required to Secure Vessel” on the Drilling Report. Review the Personnel and Visitors Roster to ensure that it is current. Monitor weather service reports twice daily by telecopier, and more often as necessary. Prepare an inventory of all rental equipment on board which shows vendors, serial numbers, and dates of arrival and departure. Maintain an estimate of variable loads on board and record this estimate on the IADC Daily Drilling Report form. Phase 1 Phase 1 becomes effective when a threatening storm, hurricane or severe tropical disturbance develops which could move into the Vessel's area of operations regardless of the storm's present location. BMC Hill No. 04 3-17 Rev7 Upon announcement of this Phase, the Toolpusher will: 1 10. ul. 12, BMC Hull No. 04 Continue present operation, recognizing that deteriorating weather conditions may dictate changes in operations. Incorporate a ported drill pipe float into the BHA on the next trip out of hole. When drilling at a depth where high pressures are expected or at a depth where salt may be encountered, drilling operations may be suspended, the mud conditioned and the bit pulled up into the casing until the hurricane danger has passed or orders to "Shut Down" have been received. Post a weather map and see that the storm’s position is plotted and kept current at all times. Keep Personnel and Visitors Roster current. Check supply of cable, cable clamps, rope, and other materials which might be needed to secure any equipment or material during a storm. An immediate order shall be placed for any material needed. Make a thorough inspection of all equipment. All movable objects which are not in use or expected to be used within 72 hours should be firmly secured or removed from the Vessel. Any objects which are placed in service should be secured after use. Lay down extra drill pipe, rill collars, or tubing standing in the derrick. (If drilling in open hole, do this on next trip out.) Make preparations to lay down drill pipe that is in open hole. Check storm packer and connections. Super glue all O-rings in the SSC Valve. Start and run emergency air compressor, make sure it will build 100 p: pressure. Check auxiliary power for navigation lights and fog horn. Check all communication facilities and be certain they are operable. Make necessary repairs immediately. After preparations for Phase 1 have been completed, report same to the Drilling Operations Superintendent. 3-18 Rev7 Phase 2 Phase 2 becomes effective when a threatening storm, hurricane or severe tropical disturbance develops in or enters the Vessel's operating area (e.g., a hurricane enters the Gulf of Mexico), Upon announcement of this Phase, the Toolpusher will: 1. Set up a 24 hour radio watch. Report any important changes in weather to the Office. 2. Condition mud and get hole ready for securing well. If open hole conditions allow, pull out of hole and incorporate a ported drill pipe float into the bottom hole assembly if not previously done during Phase 1. If the open hole well conditions dictate, preparations should be made to set either a storm packer with drill pipe or a mechanical plug in casing. If unable to secure the well with a storm packer in the conventional manner, a cement plug should be utilized. 3. Make a personal inspection of all equipment under his supervision to be sure that everything is ready for a hurricane and have key contract personnel do the same. 4, Maintain an accurate Personnel and Visitors Roster which will include name, company, and title of each person on board. The number of persons on board will be submitted at each verbal drill report time. 3. When preparations for Phase 2 are complete, report same to Drilling Operations Superintendent. Phase 3 Phase 3 normally becomes effective when high winds ahead of the storm are within forty-eight (48) hours of Vessel location. Under most anticipated conditions, action should be taken which would permit support vessels to leave location twenty-four (24) hours ahead of the storm or high winds and personnel on the Vessel to start leaving twenty-four (24) hours ahead of the storm or predicted extreme winds and seas (winds over 40 mph and seas greater than 10 ft). Phase 3 will begin earlier if the "Time to Secure Vessel" exceeds twenty-four (24) hours. Upon announcement of this phase the Toolpusher will: 1. If aworkover, recompletion of well testing operations are in progress, BMC Hull No. 04 3-19 Rev7 10. ML. 12. 13. 14, BMC Hull No. 04 the procedures to secure the well will depend on the exact operation being undertaken. Have your own plan outlined at all times and consult with the Office for final approval. If drilling below surface casing, lay down pipe until bit is in casing. If drilling below protective casing, pull into casing and then lay down an amount of pipe equal to the amount of open hole. Recover wear bushing. Make up the Halliburton RTTS Full Bore Packer and SSC II Storm Valve in the drill string and run in hole. Install and set the packer so that the bit will be near the casing shoe, but not in the open hole when the packer is a distance below the mudline which would allow the well to be abandoned if the packer cannot be pulled. Set Full Bore Storm Packer and back off from same. Setting procedure is described in the operating instructions for RTTS Storm Packer. Lay down excess drill pipe. Close and lock blind rams with wedge locks. Close all blowout preventer manifold valves and casing valves. Disconnect all fluid lines to blowout preventer stack. Remove bell nipple from BOP. Check and tighten snublines on blowout preventers (3/8" and 5/8") and check and tighten guide for 30” ‘Tie-down and secure all pipe, equipment, and materials. Secure Drill Floor and derrick equipment in accordance with established procedures. Start and run emergency air compressor. Make sure that it will compress air to 100 psig. Leave diesel fuel day tanks full. Make sure all fuel, water, air and mud line valves are closed. Lay down and tie down crane booms. Evacuate all non-essential personnel by available air or sea transportation. 3-20 Rev7 15, 16. 17. 18. 19. If communications with shore are possible, preparations for Phase 3 will remain in force until further orders are received. The Drilling Supervisor on each facility is given full authority to do whatever he thinks necessary to protect people, wells and equipment in case communications with shore are not possible. Keep Personnel and Visitors Roster current Have workboats in field to evacuate personnel Record the following on the ADC Daily Drilling Report form: ~ Estimate of variable load ~ Any adjustments made in variable load (i.c., pump off water, barite, etc.) - Total amount of casing, drill pipe, drill collars and HWDP left on board ~ Describe any pipe left in the derrick - Air gap and if any changes made in preparation to evacuate Vessel. ~ Method by which blocks are tied down/secured ~ Position of skid units (or if skidded prior to evacuation) Report completion of work for Phase 3 to the Drilling Operations Superintendent. Phase 4 Phase 4 becomes effective when high winds ahead of the storm are within twenty- four (24) hours of the Vessel location. Upon announcement of this Phase, the Drilling Supervisor on each Vessel will ib BMC Hull No. 04 Commence evacuation of remaining personnel to shore by available air or sea transportation. Ensure that the well is suspended properly Make final check that all equipment and supplies are secured. Shut down all engines except for emergency generator. Tum on obstruction lights and fog horn. Close all watertight doors, openings, vents and access ways. 3-21 Rev7 The Toolpusher will maintain a list of all personnel and their telephone ‘numbers where they can be contacted after the hurricane. Record preparations on the [ADC Daily Drilling Report form and Personnel and Visitors Roster. These reports will be carried by the Toolpusher upon evacuation of the Vessel. Notify the Drilling Operations Superintendent and support base when the ‘Vessel is secured and again when all personnel have arrived ashore, 3.7.3 Post Storm Procedure ‘When the storm danger has passed, the following procedure will apply: 1 7, Return to the Vessel Upon arrival, inspect for damage and start up engines. Test choke and kill lines as required by well program. Open choke line below blind rams and check for pressure. Test BOPs as required by well program. Pick-up drill pipe with centralizers and RIH. Ratchet into the storm valve, pick up 10,000 Ibs. on the packer to open the ball valve and check for drill pipe pressure. Close Hydril, release packer. Retrieving procedure is described in the operating instructions for RTTS Storm Packer. Check for pressure through choke line. Open Hydril. Pull out of hole, Lay down packer, stage in hole. 3.7.4 Emergency Shutdowns Emergency shutdowns are noted on Dwg No, 180-202 (2 sheets), titled "Fire and Lifesaving Plan", found in Section 5. The following procedure should be used after an emergency shutdown (ESD): fs 2. BMC Hull No. 04 Reset the ESD used to shut down the Vessel's equipment. Start the cold-start air compressor. Select No. 1 or 2 AC Generator for starting, and put the selector switch on idle. 3-22 Rev7 10, ML 12. BMC Hull No. 04 Check to be sure that the main breakers on No. 1 and 2 main generators are open. Prelube and start main engine and let it idle; warm it up to a minimum of 150° F. ut the selector switch in the run position. Check the back feed breaker for emergency switchboard to be sure it is open. Close breaker on the main generator to put it on line. Start the radiator fan on the main engine placed on line. Reset the U.V. breaker on the ventilation panel and start the engine room and other ventilation fans. Transfer the emergency board back to main board and let the emergency generator cool down before securing it. After the emergency generator is secured, set it up in the auto-start mode. 3-23 Rev7 4 LOADING CALCULATIONS 4.1 CALCULATION PROCEDURES 4.11 412 References Loading calculations for the Vessel are to performed according to the reference and coordinate system described in Section 2.5.1. Units of distance and all soundings are feet; units of weight are kips of 1,000 Ibs. Be careful when dealing with + and - signs during multiplication and addition. The tank tables assume 42 gallons per barrel, or 5.61 #? per barrel, give weights in kips and VCGs relative to the Hull BL in one inch increments for the first foot, three inch increments thereafter The hydrostatic data referred to herein may be obtained from either the table found in Section 2.5.6, or graphically from Dwg No. 180-150, titled "Hydrostatic Curves" Dafa Entry Fi in the blanks on the Loading Calculation Form (the Form) as follows: Hull Tanks: # The number of barrels contained in any tank can be obtained by sounding the tank through its sounding tube and determining the number of barrels in the tank from the Tank Tables found in Appendix A; multiply barrels in each tank by the appropriate factor in the calculation column to obtain tank liquid weight; enter in the weight column. # The LCGs and TCGs of all tanks are constant; use the pre-entered data on the Form, # For VCGs of the Hull Tanks, sound each tank and determine the VCG by means of the Tank Tables; enter in the appropriate space in the VCG column, # Multiply weight by appropriate LCG, TCG and VCG, and enter each moment in their respective moment columns. 4 For the smaller, miscellaneous tanks (lines 12 to 18), for LCGs and TCGs use the pre-entered values on the Form. For weights and VCGs, use the data in the table below. Sound each tank; the Bb//in BMC Hull No. 04 4-1 Rev7 figure will allow the volume in the tank to be determined and hence the weight. For unassigned spaces, determine VCGs above the Hull baseline and enter in VCG column. # Calculate moments by multiplying as before. Miscellaneous Loads: # Enter weights, determine LCGs, TCGs and VCGs and calculate as described previously. The BOP stack, if aboard, is to be included in this block. # The upper part of this table is meant to capture items which are not in the BMC Hull No. 04 ‘Vessel's lightship weight but nonetheless are constantly on board for long periods of time. 4-3 Rev7 413 Variable Load Summary: # Transfer the individual weights and moments from each block (Hull Tanks, Liquid Mud, etc.) to the summary table at the top of Page 3. Obtain totals as in previous tables. Vessel Loading Summary: Transfer the Variable Load weight and moments to this block and enter in the appropriate blank space. Note any alterations to lightship weight and centers in the designated spaces. # Be especially careful to enter LCGs for the Substructure and the Drill Floor depending on whether they are in their stowed positions, and the Columns and ‘Mat depending on whether they are fully retracted. Centers of gravity for each of these three items when stowed are given in the table in Section 2.5.1. See Section 4.2 for instructions regarding centers of the Substructure and Drill Floor when in modes other than afloat. # Calculate moments by multiplying as before. # Divide total longitudinal, transverse, and vertical moments by the total weight and enter at the bottom of LCG, TCG, and VCG columns, respectively, in the Grand Total line. Stability Reduction Calculation for Correction of Trim: # Step 1. Using the Grand Total weight obtained previously, find the corresponding draft and LCB from the hydrostatic data, and enter in appropriate spaces on the Form # Step 2. Take the difference between the LCG and the LCB and enter in the proper space. NOTE: If the LCG is greater than the LCB, then drill water must be shifted from aft (Tank Nos. E-3 & -4) to forward (Tank Nos, B-2 & -3) to keep the Vessel from trimming aft. If LCG is less than the LCB, then water must be shifted from forward to aft to keep the Vessel from trimming forward # Step 3. Multiply the LCB and LCG difference by the Grand Total weight and enter as "Total Shifting Moment” required. # Step 4, To find out how many barrels of water need to be shifted BMC Hull No. 04 4-4 Rev7 between tanks, divide the "Total Shifting Moment" by the weight conversion factor and the distance between tank LCGs. Step 5. For the number of barrels of water to be shifted from each set of tanks, divide the "Total Bbls" by 2. Calculation for Correction of Heel: # Step 1. Ifa total transverse moment exists, water must be shifted either from port to starboard or from starboard to port depending on whether the TCG is ‘minus (to port) or plus (to starboard), in order to correct total heel to zero. The number of barrels to be shifted can be found by dividing the figure obtained for Grand Total Transverse Moment (or TM) by the distance between the tank TCGs, and the appropriate weight correction factor. Judgement must be used to determine whether or not trim and/or heel conditions are sufficient to warrant any transfer. Calculation of VCG Corrected for Free Surface: # BMC Hull No. 04 Steps 1 through 3. These calculations are only required if the Vessel is afloat. For the given operating mode afloat (see Section 3.6), determine which Maximum Allowable KG wind speed applies and enter in the space provided. Using the Maximum Allowable KG Curve (Dwg No. 180-151), at the Vessel’s calculated draft, pick off the correct KG value and enter in the space provided, Correct Grand Total VCG for free surface of slack Hull tanks by adding the correction factor (see sample Loading Calculation sheet 4) to the Grand Total VCG as described under Vessel Loading Summary notes on the previous page. Step 4. Free surface corrections can be evaluated by taking the transverse moment of inertia, I, of each tank which contains slack liquid, divide it by the density of the liquid, d, and enter the value into the I/d column. Add all Slack values to obtain the sum of free surface moments. Step 5. The summation of I/d values for the various tanks, divided by the Grand Total Weight, gives the free surface correction. Step 6. Add the calculated free surface correction to the Grand Total VCG to find the Corrected VCG. The Corrected VCG should never exceed the Maximum Allowable KG; if it does, reduce variable load VCG and/or weight to correct the situation. 4-5 Rev7 Calculation of Heel and Trim: 4 Step 1. Enter the hydrostatic data at the Vessel’s draft and determine the values of KMT and KML (Metacentric height, transverse and longitudinal); enter the values in the spaces provided. LCF is constant over the Hull's normal draft range. Steps 2 and 3. Calculate GMT and GML by subtracting VCGcorr from KMT and KML respectively; enter the values in the spaces provided. Calculate the Moment to Heel One Inch (MHI") and Moment to Trim One Inch (MT1") using the formulae provided. Note that the suggested beam (B = 132 ff) is for the Hull's extreme breadth and the suggested length (L = 191 fi) is for the Hull's extreme length, Fr, 0 to the transom. Calculate total Heel and Trim using the formulae provided. The Total Weight, LCG and TCG are taken from the Grand Total, line 87. The heel and trim so calculated represent the difference in drafts across the extreme beam and length, respectively. Step 4. The penultimate step is to convert the calculated heel and trim to readings at the Vesse!'s draft marks. Take care with arithmetic handling of + and - signs! First calculate the draft at the FP (Fr. 0), then at the Vessel's CL in way of the forward draft marks (at the forward "comers" of the Hull) and at the aft draft marks (at the forward end of the slot). Finally, the drafts at each of the four draft mark locations are determined, Step 5. Observe readings at the Vessel's draft marks and enter in the space provided. NOTE: the draft marks indicate water depth from the Hull baseline; the lowest point on the Vessel is the bottom of the Mat scour skirt which is 13.50 ft below the Hull baseline with the Mat in the fully raised position. The draft marks are 6" high and are placed to read the indicated draft when the water level is at the number's base. Thus, if the water is half way up the 10 ft mark, the draft is 10'-3"; if at the top, 10-6". Any large discrepancy between observed and calculated draft readings (say over 6") should be investigated. 42 ELEVATED CONDITIONS 42.1 Data Entry ‘The procedures for calculating the Vessel loading condition when elevated (ic., jacking, drilling, or storm modes) are identical to those used when afloat up to entering the final Vessel Lightship and Loading Summary Table. VCG BMC Hull No. 04 4-6 Rev7 422 calculations and free surface moments can be ignored except when determining Vessel stability properties prior to lowering the Hull. First, the weight of the Columns, Mat and Ballast (line 84) should not be considered as part of the Vessel's elevated weight. Second, the centers of the Substructure and Drill Floor must be adjusted to their correct positions (if they are not in their stowed positions as is required for preload, jacking, and storm modes). This is accomplished as follows: Substructure: # For the LCG, measure from the forward end of the Substructure to the forward stop block; add 97.65 ft to this measurement and enter as the LCG. In the stowed position the LCG is as noted in the table in Section 2.5.1. # The TCG is unchanged from its stowed position value, which is noted in the table in Section 2.5.1. # Calculate moments by multiplying as before. Drill Floor: # For the LCG, add 1.18 ft to the Substructure's LCG obtained in the step above; enter as the LCG # For the TCG, measure the distance the well center is offset from the Hull centerline, positive to starboard and negative to port. To this figure add - 1.15 ft. In the stowed position the TCG is as noted in the table in Section 25.1. # Calculate moments by multiplying as before. Add up the lightship components (but not the Columns and Mat and Ballast) and the variable load as before to obtain a Grand Total weight and moments. Loading Reduction Calculation for Correction of Trim: # This calculation—-actually a longitudinal moment correction as the Vessel is elevated--is performed assuming the "LCB" is equal to 85.0 ft aft of Fr. 0, or the centroid the Columns in plan. # Perform the subsequent steps of this calculation as described in Section 4.1.2. BMC Hull No. 04 4-7 Rev7 43 Calculation for Correction of Heel: # This calculation--a transverse moment correction--is performed as described in Section 4.1.2, with the Vessel's centerline as the axis of reference. ‘The remaining calculations shown on the Form which deal with matters of stability afloat do not need to be performed when the Vessel is in the elevated mode. The only exception to this statement is when the Vessel is ready to be jacked down; then the distribution of the variable load must be checked to ensure adequate stability and a minimum of heel and trim, SAMPLE CALCULATIONS ‘Three loading conditions have been evaluated with the previously described methods, showing Vessel loading and stability particulars for the following operating conditions: 43.1 43.2 433 Sample Loading Calculation No. 1: Afloat @ Loadline Draft This calculation shows the Vessel in a typical moving condition with maximum variable load aboard. The Substructure and Drill Floor are in their stowed positions; the Columns and Mat are in their fully raised position. Sample Loading Calculation No. 2: Afloat Ready to Jack ‘This calculation shows the Vessel afloat with the maximum variable load for jacking operations. ‘The Substructure and Drill Floor are in their stowed positios the Columns and Mat are in their fully raised position. Sample Loading Calculation No. 3: Elevated Storm Condition This calculation shows the Vessel with the Hull elevated with the maximum variable load for elevated operations.
